[/center]It is almost 21 years since the defeat of Lord Voldemort and the new generation are starting back at Hogwarts with barely a care in the world. Things have taken a strange turn over the summer when a boy of no more than 17 is discovered on the grounds of the school and, as no-one knows where he is from (or anything other than his name is Tom Riddle) he is set to begin Hogwarts with the rest of the seventh years, at least until the aurors can find a way to send him back. Only two people are aware of who this new stranger would grow to become and they have been sworn to secrecy. Thrown into a new time with new rules and a completely different school to what he remembers, Tom is fighting his way through the year worse than a first year would and has found that his only chance for survival is to ally himself with the top ranking Slytherins.
Fate has a funny way of correcting things, especially when they did not go as she intended them to in the first place. Are Tom's charms going to be enough to get him into the safety net provided by the top Slytherins? Will be make the same mistakes he did before or is he going to use this chance to correct his past errors? What game is fate playing at this time and why has she chosen now to play it?
