MYCBOXNAMEIS : Delts
HOWDIDYOUFINDUS?: I am one of the creators baby!
IALSOPLAY: Isaac Santiago, Esme Cullen

MYNAMEIS : Delta Olivia Grace
CALLME : Delts, Delta thats about it
IAM : twenty one / fifty three
BORNON : 14th September 1957
GENDER: female
ILIKE : boys
SPECIES : vampire
TYPE : vegetarian
POWER : METAMORPHAGUS: Delta has the ability to change hair and eye color although, it is controlled by her emotions. She has to maintain high concentration and control of her emotions to grasp control of her power. Recently, her power has developed with age and now, whenever she feels intense, strong and genuine emotions, she has the ability to change her complete physical identity. This is only restricted to human form and although she takes on the complete physical form, she does not adapt any of their other attributes, such as scent and mental state. She must still control that same strain of emotion to maintain the physical form. If she is distracted or her emotional state changes, she has only an hour before she transforms back to her regular self. Now that her power has developed, she is still able to access her minor powers when experiencing smaller fuelled emotions.
========================================
MYTWIN : Delta Goodrem
HOWTALL : 5'10"
IWEIGH : 120
MYHAIR : Naturally, her hair is a light honey blonde which falls in long curled tendrils past her shoulders. When her power is used, depending on what emotion, her hair could be any color of the rainbow.
MYEYES : Once again, naturally, her eye color is a sapphire blue, uncommon to those of her species. When her power comes into play though, they can unpredictably turn any color they wish.
THEFACE : Delta has a toned, rounded face. She has beautiful clean eyebrows which frame her sparkling eyes perfectly. Her cheekbones are one of her more dominating features on her face. Her lips are fine and pointed and it is not very often you see her with a frown on her face. Finally, Delta's face is lined with a sharp jawline and a chin that narrows down into a small point and completes her beautiful, 'girl next door' appearance.
THEBODY : Delta has a tall slender frame. Although she is quite thin, Delta has the perfect, 'barbiedoll' figure. She is not like one of those skinny girls that don't have breasts or a nice butt. This girls got it all.
SPECIAL : Delta doesn't really carry many special features. There is one however, that she keeps hidden at all times. A scar, imprinted deep within her skin and position on her hip. The sign of a curvacious 'D', a mark that she has been tortured by the one and only Danna Deville. Fire may be the only true weakness to kill a vampire, but it also leaves a troublesome mark on the flesh.
ABOUTME : Delta is a sweet, kind hearted being. She is not one to put herself before others, but also doesn't enjoy spoiling herself. She will always worry about others, what they are doing and the concequences that will follow. Never at any time would she think about how others actions affect her, before thinking of others. Even if it affects her in a negative way, she always, always, puts others before her. To turn it around, Delta is always concerned about others emotions and how they feel as an affect of her actions. She will always obsess over the smallest little things. As such, Delta is a very critical person and is often very negative about herself. She often puts herself down, seeing it as a way of bringing herself back down to earth and making her feel more ordinary, more human.
She is also a very analytical creature. Delta reads a lot into every situation. Every situation she analyzes and discovers the reasons for things happening. She doesn't dwel in the past, resenting history and making herself get over things quickly. She is a very strong being, pushing herself to be emotionally strong. She figures that if she doesn't dwell on things her power won't control her. She hates surprises, as this often leads to her emotions being swung out of control. Basically anything that isn't normal predicatable life, Delta tries to stray away from.
Delta is a very loving person andas such, loves each and every one of her friends as much as if they were part of her family. Leaving Australia, she left her family behind and expects to never see them again, or atleast communicate with them again. They believe she is dead and it was the hardest thing for Delta to watch. She viewed her own funeral and couldn't help but cry amongst a veil of black hair. She is very senstive, and is easily upset. Of course, with her analytical side, Delta reads too much into situations and often gets the wrong idea about things. Its amazing how events have ways of untangling themselves.
She is a teacher, her earlier years were spent in the primary sector but when she began her nomadic lifestyle and finally found her home in Forks, Delta chose to focus on the higher education of high school students. After being in Forks for only a year, Delta became the principal of Forks Highschool. She was excited but didn't know if she could handle the repsonsibility of being the main decision maker of such a large institution.
She is quite shy, not one to run around a room screaming and drinking, making random friends and hosting promiscuous hook ups. It takes a lot to get to know Delta and that is probably the reason why she doesn't have a lot of friends. She is refined, mature and prides herself on being a responsible human being. She does have her immature moments but doesn't everybody?

ILOVE : 5+ likes
- SCOTT COBIN - The man of her dreams, the two are basically one person. You can't have one without the other and they most definitely can't survive alone. They need each other and it is that strong bond that has made Delta feel the way she does about this amazing man.
- MUSIC - writing, playing and singing
- TEACHING - being principal of Forks High, its her passion to help others.
- ART - Before becoming a principal, Delta focused a lot of her teaching life attending to the needs of the visually artistically talented. In her spare time, when she is not writing songs, Delta loves nothing more to take photos or go outside and paint.
- FINE FASHION - Delta loves to dress in the highest of fashions and to be up to date with the latest trends, but still tried to keep her traditional style and fashion sense.
- SCENT OF FRESH BAKED BREAD - Even though she now prefers the sensation of warm animal blood, Delta loves nothing more than to walk past a local bakery and inhale the sweet aromas that remind her so much of home.
- JAPAN & TRAVEL - When she was in highschool, Delta travelled with her class on a study tour of the country. During her time there, Delta made many friends and adopted two small country families that were as close to her heart as her own family. Delta loves all aspects of asian culture and enjoys the cuteness of the modern japanese lifestyle.
- EVIL PEOPLE - She was once one to tolerate everyone and understand people are the way they are for a reason. Now, Delta dispises people who are horrible foul creatures of the earth, alot like those of the Deville Coven.
- PAIN - After being changed, tortured and heartbroken, Delta can't stand any form of pain penetrating her body.
- IGNORANCE - she hates people forming opinions without experiencing, or knowing the facts. Especially when it comes to people, Delta will not judge until she has met the person and experienced what they have to offer.
- HISTORY - she couldn't be any more disinterested when people start talking about history, the events and the importance of time. Delta believes in the concept of what happens, happens. Everything happens for a reason. There is always some good to be drawn from an evil and Delta remains to this day to stick by these principals. Why dwell in the past when you can analyse, resolve and move on?
- DRAMA, CONFLICT - Delta completely hates conflict. She will stop at nothing to try and avoid confronting someone. She would rather hide in another country until the fury died down before she would approac them and attempt to talk to them like an adult. It is a very immature trait of hers, but everybody is flawed and she realises that. Delta embraces her differences and her flaws.
- FIGHTING - Delta is not the most talented of fighters, but when she is forced, she will fight. When it came to Danna, Delta was compelled to fight back with her words and then eventually her physical strength against the pregnant wild vampire. All atempts proved fruitless as Danna ended up succeeding and winning the battle. When fighting a pack of wolves, Delta found strength in numbers when she faught along side her coven members. This time, her inability to fight did not let down her family members andter were successful. From these two experiences and other minor problems in her life, Delta vows that she will never fight unless her life or the ones she loves are in jeopardy. She despises anyone who goes out of their way to seek any form of conlfict.
- When she was being tortured by Danna Deville, and raped by Christian Davek, lets just say she secretly enjoyed the pleasure she recieved.
- She is staying single until she finds her soulmate. She really likes Scott, but she is still unsure about him. She can't completely trust him and until she can, she won't commit herself 100% to the relationship.
- She misses her family and would love to move back to Australia. Even if it was to just spy on them for a little while, to ensure their safety. Delta knows, however, that Forks is the best place for her at the moment. Now settled, she is slowly rebuilding her life and may eventually be able to inject some normality back into her system.
- After Scott broke it off with her, Delta escaped to Japan where she let her life go and became a wild vampire again. Now that she is back home and with Scott again, she doesn't know if she will follow her instints that are pulling her so harshly, or follow the respectful lifestyle of that of a vegetarian.
- When Delta returned from returned from Japan she assumed a wild lifestyle. One night when she was feasting, Delta became distracted and left her prey. A few days later her actions came back to haunt her as she met the newborn of the human she feasted. No one knows about this secret, not even Scott. She doesn't know if she wants to tell him, fearing of how he would react.
- DANNA DEVILLE - She had hardly met the woman and she instantly took a disliking to her. Danna is one of the most powerful woman in Forks and takes every opportunity to use it to her advantage. Power does horrible things and unfortunately, Delta soon realised after she suffered a fate she never wants to relive again.
- VAMPIRES WHO CONTROL EMOTION - Obviously, if they can control others emotions, they can control her ability.
- WEREWOLVES - they are unpredictable, she once trusted them and tried to become friends with them. After she had the run in with the Serenity Pack when she was in the Paddock Coven, Delta knows that it doesn't take much and she can't risk or tip toe around the edges.
- EXPOSING HER POWERS - Delta is a very secretive person and as such, she only exposes her gift to the ones she trusts most. She does not believe that her power is at all powerful. It is basically useless and cannot be used as an attack, but Delta still stays reserved when it comes to others knowing what about her.
- INDEPENDENCE - Delta enjoys her time alone, working by herself and focusing on her needs. She is by no means a selfish person, but she knows how to balance her life.
- OPTIMISM - Even in the worst of situations, Delta always believes she will survive, she will get through whatever life throws at her.
- INTELLIGENCE - She is a unversity graduate and a principal of a highschool. She is no brainiac, but Delta holds a great wealth of knowledge, thanks to her now life as an immortal soul. She has been able to experience events in her life she may not have and as such, her teachings are a lot more engaging.
- FLUENT JAPANESE - Delta can speak fluent Japanese. She first started learning the language in highschool and when visiting the country with classmates, she knew that the wanted to complete immerse herself in the culture and language of this mystifying country.
- YOUNG HUMAN BLOOD - Ironically for Delta, working in schools is always a struggle for her as she tends to enjoy the sweetness of young human blood as much as she tries to curve her ways.
- INABILITY TO CONTROL HER OWN EMOTIONS - Like every person on the living planet, Delta can't always control her emotions. Over the years she has stived to focus on monitoring her emotional states and finding ways to combat the sensations she feels. However, there are always exceptions to the rules and lately, Delta finds herself unable to deal with the strong emotions she feels.
- PHYSICALLY WEAK - Delta is not strong, although she has the normal strength of an average vampire, Delta chooses not to use it and rely on others to fight her wars. As previously stated, she really hates conflicts and fighting so it only makes sense that she refuses to fight back. Others see her as weak and she is ok with this presumption. She would rather take comfort in the arms of Scott or be sheltered by her friends or coven mates.

BORNIN : Australia
LIVINGIN : Port Angeles, Washington, America
MOMMY : APRIL LEA GRACE
Delta looks exactly like her mother. Everyone in town swore that she recieved all her good looks from her. Delta knew however, that she was equal parts her father and mother. April was a loving, warm hearted and caring woman. She wanted nothing more than to see her little daughter happy and grow up with the best of opportunities. Her father may have been the strength, but her mother was definately the heart.
DADDY : WILLIAM JAMES GRACE
He was a hard working man. William was always waking up early, creeping through the house walking down the small country street to start baking the bread for the days business. She never saw a lot of her father, considering he slept while she was awake but she always had fond memories of him. Whatever chance he had, Delta remembers as a child, her dad whipping her up in the air and swinging her around in giant circles. She remembers the freedom she felt with him. William was the one to hold the family together, even in times of need her was like the elastic band tightening.
THESIBLINGS :HUNTER JAMES GRACE - Younger Brother
KAYLA MAE GRACE - Younger Sister
OTHERHALF :
SCOTT COBIN - Scott seems to be the pivitol aspect in her life at the moment. He left her, stranded, her heart broken and now he is back, trying his hardest to impress her. She loves him, partially, but doesn't completely trust him. He was a rutheless disrespectful wild vampire before he met her and although he has changed, she can't help but preserve the thought that he could return to the person he once was.

FULLHISTORY:Delta Olivia Grace, the most adorable of girls, the purest of hearts, was born September 14 1957. She began her life nestled in the dense bushland on the Northcoast of New South Wales, Australia. She was brought into the world, bright eyed and coy, by two of the most loving parents. The family lived in a small town, running their own bakery, selling fresh bread and every sweet pastery imaginable. Her father, William James Grace, woke up early every morning, baking the bread and ensuring the finest of quality. Her mother, April Lea Grace, was the one and only woman hosting behind the register. Being a self employed family, Delta's family never earned enough money to get ahead in life. Money was never an important issue to them. Delta's parents always ensured that as long as they were happy and healthy, they were well off. During her early infants stages of her life, she never saw a lot of her parents, together anyway. When mom was working, dad was home and when dad was working mom was home. It didn't leave a lot of time for them to live life as a true family but from her experiences Delta learnt a lot of family values and ideals she would carry with her for the rest of her life.
For the first 2 years of her life, Delta was the apple of her parents eyes. Delta basically grew up with bread and carbohydrates flowing in her veins. There wasn't a week go by that the family wouldn't indulge in the finest baked products, left over from the days trade. She was definitely well looked after, her mother always showered her with small gifts, whenever she could afford to splurge. She wanted nothing but the best for her one and only daughter, not matter how much it cost, no matter how much they were in debt, Lea would find a way to make Delta feel special. Delta started preschool early, very early for a child her age. Others would look down at her parents for pushing her into such a structured and controlled environment so early in life, but Delta always knew that her parents loved her and did their best to support her. Whatever they did, they did their best.
One afternoon, after being picked up by her father (a very uncommon occurance), Delta instantly knew something was wrong. Where was her mother? The girls twisted her own golden blond hair as she sat nervously in the car seat on the way home. Where was her mother? She kept looking around, looking out the windows wondering where her mother was. She was nowhere to be found. When the two got home, Delta ran straight inside and up the stairs to her parents bedroom. Not even looking in the kitchen, or even wondering if she was at the shop still, Delta took each step one at a time and stumbled in the rush of the moment. The door was closed, their door was never closed, it was so unlike her parents to be shutting her out of something. She gripped the brass door nob, feeling the soft smooth texture on the palm of her hand as she attempted to open the door. Unsuccessful, Delta could hear the heavy footsteps of her father as he lept up the stairs and secured his arms around her waist, lifting her up and perching her up on his shoulders.
Walking into the room, Delta couldn't help but gasp as she saw her mother lying asleep in the bed. She started crying, worrying about what had happened to her mother. She couldn't help but think that she was dead. As her dad trotted like a horse, quickly towards the bed where her mother lay, Delta bobbed up and down and giggled slightly in enjoyment. Then, she froze still, on the other side of her mothers bed, a small little bed, like a nest, carried the tiny little body of her new baby brother , James. At first, Delta instantly wanted nothing to do with him, he spent his whole time with his mother. She was always cradelling him in the kitchen while she cooked dinner and she actually stopped working for a while. Why did she do that? She never did for Delta? What was so special about him? Delta continued to go to preschool, spending everyday with the few friends that pushed themselves into her life. She didn't mind spending time by herself, but at preschool it was her time to socialise. Even for a quiet girl, she needed friends and when she would go home, she would be alone anyway.
When Delta hit the age of 5, her little brother was already 2 and a half. He started preschool early like her and her mother went back to working at the bakery. It was interesting that while Lea was at home looking after James, there wasn't as much food, they ate more bread and Delta never received the presents she used to. James received all the attention and Delta couldn't help but feel a little misplaced by it all. That all changed when she started going to primary school. Every student, every boy, every girl, every teacher would stare at her as she walked past. She was an image of beauty, although a little soft from the years of eating mass complex carbohydrates, Delta was still amazingly beautiful. It wasn't until year 5 when things started to change. Delta's soft exterier became more of a problem and severely disturbed the beautiful blonde haired girl. As she grew Delta's past caught up with her and she started piling on the pounds. For a small child, she had put on so much weight and people started ignoring her, she was part of the crowd. Of course, this made her feel more insecure and as such she spent the remainder of her school life with only a small handful of friends.
During highschool, Delta became a nerd, surrounding herself in all things academic. She joined the music group where she focused all of her attentions on piano, singing and song writing. She was thankful to have a group, somewhere to belong to, a group of friends she could hang around and share the same passion for music as she did. Being labelled a nerd didn't do a lot for her romantic life either. Delta spent the entirety of her highschool life, watching those around her, the popular ones, date and go out having a good time. She never felt an inch of jealousy, although she did feel like she was missing out on something. She longed to have a boyfriend althought longing wasn't enough, no one was ever going to love a large, blonde haired nerd.
In her late teens and early adulthood, Delta met the man of her dreams. They were in the same year at highschool and feel in love over the last year of our education. Delta couldn't believe it, she had found a beautiful caring man that loved HER for the way she was, the way she looked. No one approved of their relationship, the girl suffered alot without actually realising. Love truely was blind and as such Delta could not see her own world ending right before her eyes. Her boyfriend, was one to play games, with other girls. When she moved away to attend university, Delta was only be able to visit home every couple of months. While she was away the ‘rat’ came out to play and spent most of his time surrounding himself in the lovely women that lived in the tiny city that was a short distance from the small town. One day the pair decided to go for a drive, he parked the car under a large umbrella tree outside the community church, turned the motor off and looked Delta straight in the eye. He hesitated for a minute but then all feeling left his eyes. “I dont LOVE you anymore” her heart froze, she lost all feeling and couldn't move. Cold wet crystals streamed from her eyes as she opened the door and ran away. Delta had known what had been going on and hinted serveral times for it to stop. They were living a lie and she was too nieve to put an end to it. At this point she knew it was over and there was no going back.
Throughout the remainder of her univeristy life, Delta clinged with those who posessed musical talents. Her studies focused on primary education but she minored in music. Once again she seemed to cling closely to those who shared the same musical interests as her. In her second year of college, Delta discovered that she had hodgkins lymphoma, a cancer of the throat. At times she found it hard to sing, her voice was changing and she had no idea why. After visiting the doctor, her fears were reality. There was a high chance of survival, although they feared that she may never be able to sing again. Terrified by what might have been, Delta started to wonder what life would be like without singing? She might as well die if she couldn't express herself through her vocals. What was a song without lyrics?
Months passed and Delta went through numerous chemotheraphy sessions, biopsies and speech impediment sessions just to get her voice back to normal. It was another 6 months before she could eventually sing again, although her voice was forever changed. It was like she was a new person and the scare she had recieved changed her personality completely. The quiet little chubby girl that used to roam the halls of college turned into the outgoing loud party girl that everyone was friends with. Delta lost touch with who she truely was and wanted to live life to the fullest, experiencing everything on offer.
After the the breakup, after the cancer, Delta decided to permanately move to Melbourne, Victoria, known for its cooler climates, the home of her current educational sacntuary. She thought it to be a nice change from those of the harsh sweltering heats of the Northern Coast of New South Wales. This is where she completed her final two years at University. During that time, Delta met a range of different people. But none as weird as the two men she grew close to, friends of hers in the same education year. They were, well unique they had an ancient almost godly look about them. They were perfect, but perfect in their own unique ways. Thomas was the more dominant of the two, his confidence far surpassed his gorgous face and purlesent smile. Harry seemed to follow after Thomas. Harry had a more rugged look but the sort of look of an acient Greek warrior. Harry was the older of the two and you could tell from experience that he knew more about life then Thomas. The boys were her best friends, Delta found herself spending most weekends with them and confiding in them like they were her own personal walking, talking diaries. It was great because they hardly ever talked about themselves they were also interested in her life.
One night Harry came over to visit (it was so not like him to visit without Thomas). His face was drawn, harsh but still beautiful, his shoulder length ebony colored hair draped in front of his face like black velevet curtains, his eyes fuming and were ingnited with a rich scarlet lustre (usually they were a red mahogany colour anyway – very unusual but beautiful none the less). “Whats happened!” Delta exclaimed on exhale. Harry simply shrugged it off as if nothing. “Thomas and I had a fight”. She had assumed that, the boys fought about girls all the time. Mind you Delta never saw these girls after the initial introduction. From experience she just assumed the boys wanted to have the whole applecart and couldnt stick to one girl. Delta comforted Harry and offered him the lounge for the night. He declined and left the house after a movie.
She didn't see the boys again for another week and a half. Delta started to get worried and headed over to their house to see how everything was going. The silence obviously meant something horrible had happened and she just need to be sure, no details just confirmation. Delta hated thinking the worst but her current friends always seemed to over exaggerate and always seemed to get into mischief resulting in weeks of dissaperances. As she walked around the corner and through the small city park across to the boys penthouse villa, for the first time she wondered to herself how two college boys, with no job, afford to rent such a grand appartment. Their parents obviously had money.
23,24,25,26, the numbers crept as if it took an eternity to reach the 29th floor of the tower. The doors open to immediately expose the boys hiding hole. The main hall was lined with guilded frames and photos of foreign scenery and people from cultures far away. She walked through the hall into the main living area, open planned, clean and modern. Delta couldn't help but notice Thomas, sprawled on the arm of a deep olive, loveseat. He was more broken then Harry. Once again no physical signs of a fight but his face had almost melded with the lounge. He had obviously been lying there for days. Suddenly he spotted Delta, his face hanging over the arm rest. “Wheres Harry?”the first question that popped into her mind. She was so not used to seeing the boys separate like this, she thought it rude how her initial reaction denied any pleasant greeting. With the sound of her voice Thomas rose from the loveseat and progressed towards her slowly. His eyes were a flaming rich scarlet shine. Was it the odd lighting and dark enclosure? She was unsure but looking into his eyes instantly gave off an erie vibe.
As he advanced he began to mutter. Delta could bearly hear his deep harmonic voice. “You always enjoyed his company more then mine, we both loved you Delta, loved you like a sister, have always cared for you, both of us equally but you always loved him more then me”. She had no idea where this had come from, what he was saying. What did it all mean? Was it explaining what the fight was about? “This will teach him for having deeper feelings for you” as Delta turned, learning in to grab Thomas’ shoulders he grabbed her shoulders too. They were now staring into each others eyes. She felt like her arms were being compressed into my chest, folding, crumpling like a piece of fragile paper. Then fire, all Delta could suddenly feel was a raging fire burning down the left side of her throat, quickly racing around the lines of her blood stream. Before she collapse to the ground, Delta noticed the numbers 3:48pm on the clock. The devillish glare of Thomas was her last hazed mermory of her human life. “Now he can have you forever”, his voice drained lowly and faded.
Delta's whole body burned, at first it felt like someone had cut, wripped her throat out with a chainsaw, and then every other limb of her body. Then it felt like she had spent way too much time out in the sun. Burnt like a lobster. Delta was sure that if she could of looked down at her body right now, she would of been hypnotised with a body covered in blisters. Days past unconsiously and Delta never recalled anything happening around her beside the occasional cold touch. There was no comfort in the touch but she knew someone was there.
Late one afternoon, she woke. Like a teenager on their first big night out at the clubs, so tired and dazed, and thirsty. Her throat was so dry, the chainsaw obviously hadn't weakened its grip on her neck. As her eyes fluttered, refocused the first image that came to her was Harry, as rugged and as beautiful as ever. He was simply there and stared at her as if something horrible had happened to her. Had she lost a leg? had she been torn about at the seams? It sure felt like it. He didnt say anything, he just sat there as dazed as she was. Delta looked down at her hands, her tan (gained from the many endless days walking in the sun at home) had vanished. Now a pasty white, a tinge of yellow tainted her flawless skin. Once freckle laiden, Delta's skin was now smooth, free of splodges and flawless. Her mood suddenly changed, Delta was shocked, scared, annoyed.
Suddenly, Harry looked up at her in complete amazement. Delta suddenly lost her thirst and asked him what was the problem. He ran away to the bathroom. Delta blinkd in disbelief, surely wasnt that hideous? Come on they both had accepted her as the chubby little stylish chick so why couldn't he accept her new pale skin? It was close to his colour anyway, what was so wrong? Harry soon returned holding a small hand mirror guilded in gold. Holding it out with one arm, Delta took the mirror from Harry and held it to her face letting out the wildest of shrieks. Not only had her voice changed, a lot higher and more melodic, her hair was a vibrant orange. She was horrified! Great not only was Delta instantly pale but she had to live with bright orange hair!, she looked like someone had smashed an orange on her head. “Why didn't you tell me” Delta screamed. “You had dark brown hair a moment ago” he explained, a slight touch of confusion to his voice. “What my hair just changed colour?” Delta had never heard of such a thing, this couldn't be happening to her. "Yeah and your eyes too!, they were bright red before now they are a purple colour” Harry seemed confused but obviously not as horrified as her.
As she stood up, Delta walked to the bathroom to take a closer look. When she stood up, weightless, it felt as iff nothing was holding her down. Trying to ignore what she had just realised, Delta moved to the mirror and was finally pleased to visualise the next of her transformation. She was infact weightless. The pounds that had clung to her body for so many years had vanished leaving a beautiful sculpted body behind. “wow knock me out more often – thats a great diet!”, she was suddenly over the moon, excited and couldn't wait to show off her new body. “Its no diet” Hary declared. Delta stared at him puzzled and confused. If it wasn't a diet what was it?
For the next two days Harry proceeded to explain his existence and how she was now a part of that. It wasn't til after this point Delta had realised Thomas was no longer present. He hadn't been here at all over the past couple of days. At that point Delta had finally realised what Thomas meant as she passed out to the burning sensations that embraced her body that night, the pieced of the puzzle finally had clean lines. “Now he can have you for ever”. The thought was constantly replaying in her mind. She was one of them, as Harry had put it Delta Olivia Grace was now a vampire.
Something out of a horror novel, Delta spent the next year living with Harry in his penthouse in Melbourne, coming to terms with her new immortality and vegetarian lifestyle. Although, Delta thirsted for something she had never tasted before, human blood. Harry tried to help her in conquering her thirst through feasting on the wildlife outside the city limits but sometimes, late at night, Delta would take off without him and sneak a homeless person or two. It wasnt clean blood but it was still human blood and it was enough to quench her thirst in between the animal hunting. Delta was repulsed with herself for plumiting so low as to picking on helpless defenseless people off the streets. It wore on her mind and with every changing emotion her hair and eyes would change. It annoyed her to no end, how uncontrollable her body was to her emotions, there had to be a way, some how to gain a greater control.
Delta tried to live a normal life. Graduating from university and then finding work at primary schools teaching. It was rewarding, but being around fresh young human blood was so tempting. After five years she could no longer live with herself. She couldn't work, DeltaI couldn't go outside, she couldn't control herself. Delta's ‘gift’ as Harry put it had become her own disabler and she began to disconnect her life from others. Harry had told her about the lives of other vampires, nomads and covens, mates and vegetarians. Delta spent the next couple of days planing her venture of escape. She was to leave, Delta needed to leave, to grow, to refind herself. She had learnt all she could from Harry and although they spent 5 years together they were no closer than best friends.
It would be hard to leave, but Delta had to do what was best for her. She needed to travel to try and grasp control of her gift, to fully commit to hery life as a vegetarian, she needed to become a nomad. Delta had plans to first go home, say goodbye to her family and tell them that she was planning to travel around the world for a few years, teaching different cultures. She would only be able to see them for a little while as her deep love would cause her to cry instantly, feel upset and who knows what colour the newborn chameleon would turn? Late one night, Delta left without saying goodbye to Harry. She knew it would hurt him but there was no other way, he was more attached of her than she was of him. He wouldn't let her go without him and Delta needed to be on her own for a while.
The flight home zoomed by effortlessly quick compared to the years of sleepless nights she had already endured. Resting her hardened feet back on home land sent an erie wave of nerves through her body. How would her family react? She was completely different to how she looked before she left. They would obviously be pleased with the change. She looked more like herself now then she ever did as a fully grown adult human. Delta pushed forward through the now glass doors into her parent's bakery. It was a relief to her that they still kept the family business running and they seemed to be doing amazingly well. Her visit was a complete surprise to them, her mother yelling out to her father as she ran towards her eldest daughter. Tears were streaming from her eyes, intending to fall forward and hug her, Delta jumped back within a second to cease her mother from knowing too much about her transformation.
Within a moment her father came racing in and not too long after, Delta found herself being emotionally dragged out to the back office for some catch up reunion conversations. "Oh just wait till your brother gets back, it will be like having my three babies home". Her mother was a flurry of verbal monstrosities. 3? three babies? Delta suddenly confused, ran outside and hid around the corner, down a dark alley way. Sure enough looking at her hair, it had changed to a venomous slime green color, looking in a pool of water the lay under a leaking tap, Delta could also notice how her eyes glistened a hazed teal blue. Thankful her mother hadn't experienced the unexplainable change, Delta rested against the wall, trying to calm herself down, to restore her natural complexion.
Moments later, Delta traipsed back in, walking straight through into the back dough room, her dad the only occupant. "Where's mom?" Delta spoke quietly as not to disturb the customers, "I need to talk to her. Dad, what did she mean about the three babies?". She knew what it meant, she wasn't stupid. Before her dad could even open his mouth to explain, or at least respond, Delta could hear the footsteps of her mother, walking behind the building.
Racing to the back door, Delta slammed the door open, in surprise more than anger, only to pop her head around the corner to see her mom, hand in hand with a small pint sized girl. "Delta, Kayla, your sister" She saw how her mother looked at the little girl standing innocently by her side. It was the same look she showered her and then her little brother. There was only enough room for one child in the family to recieve that stare of adoration. It was passed down from sibling to sibling. Delta couldn't stand it. She needed to get out. The scent was tickling her nose, holding her breath she tried to fight back, to avoid any unecessary attacks. Young human blood smelled so good, although she had was of deflecting the scent, it was still torturous for her to endure.
"Mom, I have to go, Im going to be away for a long time, don't come looking for me, don't try and ring me, I'll ring you. I'm going to travel, see the world and teach. You will never know exactly where I am, please know I will be back one day." Still holding her breathing, hanging onto every second before she could drag herself away from the pure scent that radiated the air, Delta leant in, kissed her mother on the cheeck, peered back inside and waved to her father and started to walk away. She was hoping her father had heard everything she had just said, she didn't really feel like explaining again. It would be decades before she saw her family again, but they would possibly never see her again, it would just be too difficult, too hard to explain.
After saying goodbye to my parents, Delta caught a plane from Brisbane to Japan. She had heard stories of the Japanese vampires and how different their lifestyles were. Delta would then spend the next 15 years of her vampire life roaming around slowly but surely gaining a greater control of her gift and her vegetarian lifestyle. Control didn't come without its set backs but she was still able to retain a 90% vegetarian diet. The first nine years were quite annoying, everywhere she went, a new experience, a new environment, a new way of adapting a new scent. This only helped to make her stronger, to gain extra control of herself and my unpredicatble gift.
That's when she stumbled upon the little quiet, or so it seemed, town of Forks, WA. She knew from rumors whilst travelling, that the town was a haven for vampires, wild and vegetarian living together. Delta, obviously infused with the obsession of living in such a utopia, couldn't help but head straight for the town. Once arriving, Delta thought to try and fit in, but instead so secluded herself. To break out of the same repetitive nature, Delta decided to rejoin the working society and become a teacher again. Knowing her limits, she decided to become a highschool teacher instead of looking after those who were younger. The younger the child the sweeter the blood and Delta didn't know if she had the strength to constantly withdraw.
A small while after nestling into blue collar life, Delta found a group of vampires, all unique and different, but close and accepting. The Paddock Coven was her new home and it wasn't long before she moved out of the dingy little appartment she rented and into the large oriental themed palace of the Paddocks. Bex Paddock was the leader. A loyal, trusting wild vampire, small and kind but wicked and tough when tustled. The rest of the family were just as strong, but came from a variety of different backgrounds. Delta really didn't get to know too many of them well, but still felt a strong bond between each and every one of them. Little did she know this bond would soon be tested.
Her life was finally going the right way, it had seemed that the 20 years of travelling were finally paying off. She had a stronger hold on her power, although still unpredictable, and purpose was finally injected into her lifeless soul. It was time to celebrate, to let her hair done and have fun. Music, dancing, singing, it was her passion, her human goal in life. It was time to replay her rebellious behaviour and hit the clubs. Of course, Forks had nothing to offer but a larger town over hosted a variety of tantalising nightlife hot spots. Little did she know that she would meet one man, one rough, untammed man that would change her life. Scott Cobin, a washed up rockstar? Delta saw him more as an accomplished musician, escaping the havok of obtaining a celebrity status. He was the most charming, beautiful man she had ever met, the two just clicked. Every moment Delta spent with him, she felt normal, human.
Everything was about to change though, spiral out of her control and there was nothing she could do to change it or make it feel any smoother.
There was a rift in the coven. Good vs. evil. Wild vs. Vegetarian, Vampire vs. Wolf. A member of the coven had feasted on a wolves human sister, a very unwise move which catapaulted the coven into an insane war for freedom and righteousness against the Serenity wolf pack. It started out as a simple war between the two immortal kinds, however over time, with all the stress, the coven itself was dividing. The wild vampires were simply angry at the Serenity wolves, how was one of their own supposed to know the association a human had with wolves? The vegetarians on the other hand were disgraced by the wild vampires and how accepting they were of the issue. It was obvious that if they weren't to kill humans at all, this situation would never have been written in the history books. Alas, it did and it has. Delta was torn, she was not one to fight and hated the separation, however, in the end she sided with her own vegetarian kind.
Late one night, unsusspectingly, the wolves pounced on the Paddock mannor, invading the residence and dragging any immortal vampire out of the dwelling. It was a fight, a war from the get go and when it came down to the pressure, the coven stood together and faught as one. People were hurt, injured, on both sides. Delta was relieved when her fighting skills, as disgraceful as they were, were enough to save herself from serious danger. She took in a deep breath when she watched the massive hoard of dogs flee from the disembowled house. With nothing but the exterior walls, the Paddocks were left to rebuild their life. Still unsure of where they stood with the Serenity Pack, the Paddocks chose to stay as far away from them as possible, hoping the pack would do the same.
To add to the stress, after everything she had been through with the war, Delta was suddenly flung into another emotional ploy when she discovered one morning the the man she lead tobelieve was her boyfriend, was untrustworthy. He was a womaniser, she should of known but chose to live a lie. The discovery was plastered all over the news, two girls killed, no blood left in their system, raped, at the place Delta had left Scott the night before. The numbers just added up too quickly and Delta instantly assumed Scott was up to no good. She was heartbroken, destroyed, someone she thought of so perfect was so wrong for her on too many levels, soaring high above her. How could she let her heart fly astray? It was the first person of any species she had found fascinating, to discover he was having his way with other females, Delta completely lost the plot.
Within hours after confronting the man, Delta left the country and flew to seek comfort in a land that was as close as home for her, Japan. Delta loved the culture and the conflicting vobes of the city and the country, the tradition and the modern. She had made quite a few immortal friends there in her nomadic days, but chose to stay alone and find comfort in the countryside. Little did she know that she would stumble across a friend, a new born vampire, who was struggling with vegetarian life while trying to still complete school. Alexia Caleb became a good friend of hers during her art teaching days at Forks Highschool. Delta could tell from her eyes, that Alex was suffering and not dealing with her new life. Delta assisted in providing a sanctuary, someone to talk to, confidence. Their bond grew greater and then one day, Alex dissappeared, never to be seen again. Delta was just settling in and had no intention on up lifting her life again, moving away from what was common, not even for the closest of friends.
But now, here she was, Alex had grown in attitude and the reuinion was heart warming even to the coldest of kinds. Although Alex decided to stay in Japan, Delta felt confident in the fact that she had done exactly what she had done back in Forks, made a home. With that realisation, Delta caught the next plane back home to deal with the coven, the destruction, Scott, the breakup, the stress of it all.
(I could go on, I have two more things to write about, but I'm slowly getting over this so please approve!)
========================================
RPSAMPLE: Over a week, 8 days stuck inside the Paddock Mansion. Delta had thought, even after the amazing discussion she had with Bex, that it was better to remove herself from society. She didn't want to meet new people, old friends, more importantly, those who were no longer her friend. She had decided to lock herself away in the house, but after eight days of only going out to hunt, Delta felt she needed to get out and do something. There were only so many songs you could write, sing and dance to, only so many conversations you could have with coven members, the confines of the house had started narrowing in on her, constricting her and making it hard for her to breathe. Another day of rain, the wet droplets slashing and dripping off her umbrella, Delta walked around the streets of Forks. She wanted to go shopping so desperately, but thought she might spend a quiet afternoon at the library or even drop by the school and have a look at the piling amount of papers that would have accumulated on her desk. She hadn't even told the school that she was leaving, what would they be thinking? The principal just disappeared. Delta knew she had to go back, and today being a weekend, knew it would be the best time to go back in, while no one was around, to catch up.
The school was a little way out of Forks, it was nestled on the outskirts, but then again, Forks wasn't that big and she knew she could easily walk there. Looking in her frilly black clutch, Delta rummaged around to see if she had the school keys on her. Success, they were joined to her car keys. The school was on the other side of town. Realizing this, just as she hit the stair of the library, Delta turned around and started walking back the way she had just came from. There was too much to do when she had been locked up in her own house for so long. Her heels, still clicking on the wet pavement, Delta was thankful that she wore jeans today. She wanted to dress in clothes she wouldn't normally wear. She was a dress girl, loved feeling girly and pretty, but today she wanted to take on a new persona with her wardrobe. Her large black leather coat protected her from the rain more so then the umbrella, but the desired effect was there. The glittery, sequin top she had hidden beneath the jacket was definitely not her style, it looked cheap and tacky and she started to wonder if passers by would assume she was some kind of prostitute. It didn't bother her, she had learned to forget about what others thought and live her life the way she wanted and at this moment, she didn't want to be recognized, the large dark glasses were ensuring that would not happen.
She arrived at the school, her second home, her second sanctuary, the only other place she could truly immerse herself in troubles other then her own. She stood outside, the rain pouring heavier then earlier, looking up at the building that contained her office. Making her way up to the administration building, Delta slid the bras key into the lock and opened the front door, the alarm ringing loudly before she typed the 8 digit code into the system. Closing the door behind her, not worrying to lock it, Delta made her way to her office. Opening the door, she was welcomed with the musty smell of books, which lined two walls in the room. The office was quite large considering it was a small school and it didn't take Delta long at all before she added her own touch of style to the aged office. Looking around she took in the familiarity of the space, the large window, her comfortable leather chair, the long desk and the most unusual sight of all, a large towering pile of papers. She knew there would be a lot of work to do, a lot of papers to sign and a lot of documents to read over. She did however notice another small pile of papers sitting in the middle of her desk. Confused, Delta chose to ignore them for the time being, walking over to her notice board. In large letters, scrawled in blue marker were the words written “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?” who had been in her office, why had the written that? It was obviously one of the office ladies, or the relieving principal who had key access to the room. If had been any other time, Delta would have been furious, they didn't need to know where she was all the time, but she just stood there staring at it, laughing.
Looking back over at the comfortable leather office chair, Delta sprinted over and flew straight into the seat, the captain back behind the wheel. Something about being back at school made her feel more powerful, stronger, more happy. Her eyes darted over to the answering machine, of course there were no calls, the relieving principal would have dealt with them. She was then confronted by the pile of papers staring at her, centered on the table. The top page, Delta recognized instantly as a resume, an application to teach, it was obvious that the replacement had been doing some hiring whilst Delta was away. She shuffled through the piles of stapled papers, picking them up shuffling and then placing back down, one application caught her eyes. A name stood out as plain as day, the name burnt on her lifeless heart was now engraved on the application in front of her “SCOTT COBIN, ARE YOU SERIOUS?”. She screamed, her voice echoing around the large room, luckily no one inhabited to school to hear her. Catching her breath she began thinking out loud “why in the world would he apply to teach here? I work here, I'm the principal, HE KNOWS THIS!”. Looking down at the bottom of the page, she saw the large 'Approved' stamped in red ink bleeding into the left hand corner of the page. “What is he doing, teaching in MY school!” she was furious, the man she had tried to forget about over the past three weeks and had only just succeeded, was now pushing his way back into her life. Was he doing it just to annoy her? What was his plan?
Infuriated, Delta threw the papers up in the air, a giant cloud of fluttering papers danced until they hit the floor. She sped out of the office, not locking it, and out of the school. She made sure she locked the Office door, theft was something she didn't want on the school record. As she tried to remove the key from the lock, it broke off inside the lock. Holding the remainder of the small brass key in her hand, Delta threw it off into a large dense shrub. No umbrella, rain falling on her face, angry and annoyed, Delta took off, running, rampaging through the forest on the other side of the road. She didn't get too far in before she stopped, the rain lightened by the thick canopy overhead, Delta found a large boulder and flew up on top of it. Perching her self up there, crouching, she just sat there looking straight ahead. She pulled her dampened hair around to see that it had of course changed back to the dark brown that it often turned when she was angry with Scott and no doubt her eyes would be the bright cat like yellow that came with the change. She was so used to being angry with the man that she was actually starting to like the dark almost ebony strands in replacement of her usual honey blonde loose curls.
As damp as the air was, Delta could still smell every scent the forest had to offer. There was another scent however, that didn't belong in the forest, a familiar scent. It was that of the pregnant vampire from Walmart. Delta remembered the time when the woman was in so much pain she actually broke the handle on the trolley. Delta raced over to help, but the lady just brushed her off and walked away. Totally annoyed by the womans ignorance, Delta didn't want to meet her again. She was only trying to help and received nothing in return. She knew the lady lived up to the cold hearted reputation of a stereotype vampire just by that one experience. How could someone that is pregnant, someone that is bringing a little piece of joy into the world, into their life, be so angry? Delta pondered as she waited for the woman to pass by, hopefully not noticing her, so she could get back to her hostile rampage.
