 REMEMBER THOUGH, YOU HAVE TO CLAIM THEM TO EARN THEM
These DD are per MEMBER, this means that you will sign up with your CBOX NAME, please keep them the same. Fill in the small application form that will tell us all your characters. It is important that you take the initiative yourself to update your character list. If a character is not on your list and you are claiming points, these points will not be accredited to you.
It’s one thing to earn points it’s another to claim them. If you want the points to spend, you have claim them yourself. Some points are added automatically. You are given 5 DDs every time you make a post, in character or out of character, so everyone has a chance of earning prizes, even if you don’t want to claim straight away. The more you post, the more you earn.
To use the points you have gained through posting, you need to go to the ‘DD Centre’ and make a ‘Deposit of Thread DD’. The points will be added to your total and the points will be removed from your profile and bought back to zero (0). You may also wish to make a ‘Transfer of DD’ this is where you can take your banked DD and give it to someone else as a gift. It may be to say thank you for a thread, it may be a present for their birthday, but its just another way that you can help spread the love on TD.
You will need to go to the ‘DD Centre’ and make a claim each time you want to earn points for that character. You will need to fill out the form and post it in the same thread. Please make sure that you fill out the form completely and correctly. If you do not then the points will not be awarded. You need to also provide proof of the work you have done. This is done through providing a link, a direct link to that thread, so that we know what we are giving you points for.
An admin will then approve it and add your DD to your bank account. Your ‘Deposit Post’ will then be copied and transferred to your account, so that we can keep track of things you have already claimed.
Once you have accumulated enough points for the prize you want you can go to the ‘DD Vault’ and make a claim. The admins will then allow you to use the prize and will also remove the equivalent amount of points from your profile.
You may only use each prize once and once it has been used, there’s no changing of minds. We have a ‘no refund policy’ at the ‘DD Vault’. Sorry. There will be a host of prizes, all worth different amounts so even if you don’t post a lot, or claim heaps, you may still be able to achieve the smaller goals.
HERE ARE A FEW MORE RULES YOU NEED TO CONSIDER:
If a prize requires you to post something, you will not earn points for that post. If you win something that requires you to still write an application, points will not be rewarded for that application of that character.
Each member may only have ONE (1) cbox name that they register at the ‘DD Centre’, anymore will result in deletion of both accounts and all accumulated points.
If you have more than one character in a thread, you may receive points for both characters posting. Just make sure that they are both posting decent sizes posts and there will be no problem.
You may only claim each thing you do ONCE (1). This means no double claiming guys. You will lose points if you claim something twice, be honest and play the game right guys and you won’t have to suffer.
Yes the prizes might be expensive and hard to reach, but think about it, if you have 4 characters, you are four times faster to reach those goals. It pays to have more characters on site, but it also pays to have those characters active too.
Characters created solely to gain points and then deleted will have double the points removed from their account. Simple, don’t break the rules and you won’t suffer.
Advertising and affiliation posts by members will not be added to the count. If you are helping the site advertise you’re doing this because you want to help TD grow, not for points.
The aim of the game is to get as many points as possible. Its meant to motivate posting and general all site activity, so please join in the fun and see if you can start a little challenge with you and your RP buddies and see who can accrue the most DDollars.
The ‘DDCentre’ will open tomorrow, any posts made before today (SUNDAY 8TH OF MAY) will not be accepted or deposited. You will not be able to claim points for current signatures or avatars either. I have a visual memory and I know what signatures I have seen before guys, don’t try and fool me. All claims and deposits made from now on will be accepted, but first you have to make an account.
