Originally starting in Kenya, the Simba Pride were once known as the protectors of the people but only in silence. The pack were silently the hunters that kept the cold ones out of the town, but soon the general population found out about their gifts. Instead of being welcoming and thanking the men and women for their sacrifice, they ostracized them, even going so far as becoming hostile with the group. Over three hundred years ago, the Pride split and some went over the seas onto the island and others dispersed. Some were captured and taken as slaves for their peak physical abilities.
After over two hundred years, the descendants of the original pack met and instantly bonded; these two descendants, Ngozi and Taka, had been alone for a great deal of time before meeting each other and instantly deciding that they needed to pack together, for the sake of the African nation, whose vampire population had been increasing, entirely unchecked by the shifters that should have been protecting the land. Together, the pair set out on a mission to rid Africa of the vermin and hold a level of togetherness that both men had been yearning for many years.
As time went on, the Simba Pride gained new members and new speed. Together, they make up ten protectors of the people. They are also waiting for two more members to enter their ranks to complete their pride officially.
