it's ten thirty pm, and you're drifting into a fitful sleep with your head against your desk. this cubicle is your life, your domain - it's everything to you. it holds your future, it holds your desires, it holds...well, everything but your attention, it seems. you're just another suit in the crowd of those who work for a living. ...as if. welcome to the glamorous side of auckland, new zealand, a bustling city in the midst of a country known for its picturesque and tranquil scenery. as are all social hierarchies, auckland's is dominated by those in four main industries - modeling, film, media and publication, and music. the top executives and ceos of new zealand's highest grossing companies hold a similarly elevated position on the social ladder. come on, let's face it - modern living is all about power, and the individuals who partake in these industries are more powerful than kings and queens. it's human nature to desire it, and once you've tasted so much as a grain of authority, it's inevitable. you'll always want more. so wake up and smell the irish coffee. it's a brand new day, and, here at coffee and cigarettes, it's yours for the taking.
