~ about me : Polly is very self-centered, the only person that she would put before herself (at this point in time) is her creator. She feels indebted to him for providing her with immortality, so she would happily sacrifice her life for his. Polly will do whatever she can to ensure that she will survive; this was true of her as a human as well. Polly is independent, and has learned not to lean on people, because ALL people are two faced, and willing to sacrifice you for someone else any day of the week. If you couldn’t tell, Polly is also a little paranoid. She doesn’t really trust other people, and is always afraid that everyone is watching her. On that note, Polly doesn’t like to be the center of attention; she loathes being the focus of everyone. Polly is a little egotistical, she looks good, and she knows it. Polly is a little bit of a rebel, in her opinion, rules are made to be broken. Polly is intuitive, and always does what the inner voice inside her tells her to do, though this is not always the smart or right thing. Polly is funny; she likes telling jokes, and likes to see people laugh. She is witty, and always has a comeback or something smart ass to say. Polly is nostalgic, and is reluctant to forget the past and move forward. She never lets herself forget mistakes that she’s made. Polly loves to party, get drunk, get it on, the whole shebang. Though she is technically underage, that didn’t stop her as a human, and it’s not going to stop her as an immortal either. Polly is a MAJOR flirt. Any male within a five mile radius is free game for Polly. To her, flirting is a game, and a little like chess. Although Polly loves flirting, she is still deep, deep, DEEP down, searching for her final. Polly is short tempered. It is really easy to piss her off, and when you do, Polly is not easy to calm down. This may come as a shock to you, but Polly is a very intelligent young woman, she never succeeded in school however, because she found it pointless to learn things that no one ever used outside of the class room. Polly is street smart, and doesn’t take crap from people. Polly is detached, she doesn’t grow attached to houses, clothes, animals, or even people; she’s more of a nomad and likes to move around a lot. Polly loves to learn, she especially loves learning about being a vampire; the entire concept of it intrigues her. How does Polly feel about killing people to sustain herself? Polly doesn’t care about other people. To her, it’s their fault for being around her when she’s hungry. Polly lusts for blood almost constantly, and she doesn’t like to go hungry, so she feeds a lot. She has jealousy issues, mostly of other vampire women. She doesn’t like it when they get more attention than she does. Polly is a liar, she doesn’t believe in honesty, so she doesn’t usually go for telling the truth. Polly is a user and a gold digger, she will often hook up with men because they have money, fame, or just because their hot; after she gets what she wants, she breaks up with them. Polly is competitive in everything that she does. She likes to see the looks on people’s faces when she is better than them, but she hates to be beaten. Polly always keeps her promises. Though she will lie to and manipulate you, a promise is a promise, and even Polly honors those.
(I apologize for not splitting this into paragraphs, but when I began it, I didn’t think it was going to be this long… And it kind of jumps around a little bit, so sorry for that. )

~ history :
Polly was born into a very unhealthy family. Her mother was a prostitute, and her father just happened to be the guy who hired the prostitute. Polly’s mother was incapable of supporting her, and begged her father to take the child in. Her father, who was a member of the house refused. What would he say? That he knocked a prostitute up, and that he has a child? No, his career was far more important than some little nuisance that came out of a good time.
So, what was Diane to do? She couldn’t keep the baby with her partially due to funds, and partially because she didn’t want the child to grow up to be a prostitute, so she did what she could. She signed the child off at an orphanage, and left.
What became of Polly after that? When Polly was three, she was taken in by a foster family, along with ten other children, all of whom were older than her. She was the runt of the group, but she didn’t put up with their crap. She grew up independent and strong.
When Polly was five, she began to bond with the boys in the house, but Polly always avoided the women. Even from a young age, Polly was jealous of the attention that they received from the boys, and always tried to steal the spotlight.
Polly became a bit of a tom boy, she never wore dresses, and she didn’t talk with other girls about who she had a crush on (though, if you’re curious it was Matt Rodgers.) She hung out with the boys, and got into trouble with the boys.
Polly was escorted home by a police car for the first time when she was ten. She and the boys had decided to break into abandoned apartments looking for money, and a safe place for the guys to drink. Unfortunately, some woman on the street had seen them breaking in and called the cops. The cops busted down the door, and the boys put up a good fight, Tommy broke one of the officer’s legs before he went down. Polly just watched with horror as the boys were escorted out. Two of them went to the Juvenile Detention Center, while Polly and the other two were sent back home.
Polly really entered the rebellious stage when she was eleven. She smoked for the first and last time then. Polly tried it once to get accepted by a group of eighth graders, though it tasted so nasty that she swore that it would never happen again. Polly got into graffiti and stealing with this group. She cared more about their next big steal then she did about her grades, resulting in Polly repeating the sixth grade.
The second time around ended better than the first, she passed, and she moved up to the seventh grade. Polly got her first kiss from Jonah Hughes on September 1, of her seventh grade year. Jonah was heavy set, and the most unattractive guy in the school, but being wanted made Polly feel great.
Polly passed seventh grade with all C’s, which was better than she had done in some of the other grades. When Polly moved into the eighth grade, she dominated the “gang” of the school. She decided that it would be cool, if they spray painted their “sign” on a bridge above some train tracks. Naturally, Polly put herself first, and decided that she would watch instead of assist the sixth grade boy chosen for the task. All was going well, the group was standing on top of the bridge and little Johney was hanging off spray painting the bridge. It looked like everything was going to work out, when Polly heard the horn of the train. Polly’s head shot up, and she saw the bright light approaching the bridge. She reached her hand down to help pull Johney up, but he had already freaked out and let go. Polly watched as he fell into the path of the unsuspecting train… Johney’s body was found the next day.
After the incident with the train, Polly felt that she didn’t belong in the town that she was in any longer. When Polly was fifteen, she ran away. Her foster parents didn’t look very hard to find her, because what use was she to them? She was one more sassy ungrateful mouth to feed, and that was all.
Polly wandered aimlessly through the state, before she stumbled across the town of Painesville. There, she found a job as a prostitute, and she swiped her V card to some random guy when she was sixteen years old.
When Polly was in Painesville, she never bonded with anyone. She didn’t have any friends, and she became depressed. After only two months in the town, Polly attempted to commit suicide, though she didn’t take enough pills, and she didn’t die.
After her attempt at suicide, Polly decided that she didn’t want to die. She quit her “job” as a prostitute, and became a waitress instead. She loved being a waitress, she could hear all the news about what was happening in the town, as well as make friends, though she only made three, Kate, a fellow waitress; John, a regular customer; and James, a rather sexy chef. Polly tried to hook up with James many times, but he kept on denying her, and telling her that she was too young for him, and that she wasn’t his type.
Polly was persistent though, and eventually, he agreed to date her. Together, they made a beautiful couple, and they stayed together for three months. When Polly turned seventeen though, she found James cheating on her with Kate. She lost two of her friends that day, and she went to John for advice on what to do. John told her that she needed to get a hobby, and maybe go back to highschool. The second suggestion was out, but the first one sounded like a good idea. Polly began to run, and found that she was very good at it.
Polly spent every moment that she wasn’t in the diner, on the track. To her, running made her feel free, and she always felt better after a run. Polly was fast too, she often raced some of the highschool track stars and won. Polly was thinking about training for the Olympics, though she knew that she would never be allowed to get in, because she was a runaway without an education.
Polly eventually let the dream die, though she never stopped running. One month after Polly’s nineteenth birthday, she met a man named Bastion. He was hunting in an alley, and Polly just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Polly was going to become his meal, and she was horrified about it. She remembers the feeling of his fangs in her neck, and then the pain as the venom sucked the life out of her.
After the pain ceased, she awoke in an apartment, and immediately tried to escape, this was no problem for the girl, because she now had super strength. After breaking down the door, Polly stepped into the light, and realized that her skin looked like diamonds. Scared, she went back into the house, where she found Bastion waiting with a young man. That young man became Polly’s first meal.
Bastion took her under his wing, and explained to her the dos and don’ts of being a vampire. Polly listened to Bastion, and was thankful that he changed her. Immortality suited the young girl. Polly currently resides in Painesville.

~ role play sample :
Polly looked out at the horizon as the last rays of light fled from the almost dark sky. Polly loathed the day, she hated how she couldn’t go outside, and she hated how the sun felt on her eyes. It didn’t hurt, nothing seemed to hurt anymore; it just made her feel uncomfortable. Polly drew in a deep unnecessary breath of air before exiting the house. She stepped outside into the frigid air, though she was indifferent toward the temperature change. After checking to make sure that no one was watching, Polly leapt from the third story of the apartment complex, and landed lightly on the ground.
Polly peeked over her shoulder to double check that no one had seen her leap to the ground. After convincing herself that no one had. She turned and lightly padded through the snow. Polly wore Ugh boots, a sweater, jeans, a scarf, a jacket, and a hat, all of which were unnecessary items. However, Bastion had told her to blend in, and to not make it obvious that she wasn’t human. Polly always followed Bastions rules. Bastion had been a vampire for over three hundred years, and Polly figured that he knew what he was doing.
The young blonde rounded the corner of the building and turned into the alley. If she’d been human, she would have been horrified of being in an alley alone at night, but being a vampire, she dared someone to attempt to mug her.
The petite girl stood at a height no more than 5’3, and she weighed around 108 pounds. She didn’t look anything like a threat, and that’s the way that she liked it.
Polly walked for two miles before she saw the familiar café. She listened for the bell as she opened the door and walked into store. The aroma of food hit her like a bowling ball, but it didn’t tempt her to purchase any item of food. Human food no longer appealed to her, and the noise the humans made while they were consuming it was extremely annoying. ”Did I really chew that loudly?” She asked the man as she sat down across from him. He looked up from his paper briefly and then replied,
“No, you were far louder.” Polly rolled her eyes before taking off her jacket and her scarf.
“What’s been going on with you lately?” She asked, her red eyes meeting his brown. She saw the disapproval on his face.
” You’re not wearing your contacts.”[/b] He said reaching into his pocket and pulling out a pair of deep blue colored contacts. Polly sighed, she hated contacts, they were uncomfortable, and they dissolved quickly in her newborn venom. She reluctantly took them from him and popped them in.
”Are you happy now?” She asked through practically gritted teeth.
“Exuberant.” He replied sarcastically, before returning his attention back to the newspaper. Polly didn’t understand why he had called for her today, if all he was going to do was ignore her. She sighed and leaned back in her chair, it was going to be a very very long night.
