Adrien is a very interesting person. She usually is very laid back and she usually goes with the flow. The only way you will hear her have an opinion about something is if she feels very strongly about it. She is very intelligent considering she has attended some of the top American private schools. She doesn't like people to think of her as the future alpha, it gets on her nerves and she feels like she never truly gets to see the real person, that is why she perfers American schools because no one cares about her status. Instead they care about who she is as a person. She is loyal and true to the people that are loyal to her. Adrien also has a very girly side that surprises most people. She does have a slight down fall and that is her need to have people like her and the need to please others before herself.

~ history :
Adrien's story starts WAY before she was born. To understand her you have to understand a little bit of the Pack history. Many many years ago the Amur Leopards were indigenous to the temperate forests of Korea and Northeast China. Soon populations of humans began to grow more and more and along with them so came the vampires. Humans were dying every night and so came the first ever Amur Leopard shifter. She was named Elena and when she shifted she would protect the human population from the vampires. Humans could live in peace again and gradually there became more shifters. They formed a sister hood and Elena was the leader.
The Amur Leopards were a matriarch society where females were always the alphas, and for many years there were not any male amur leopard shifters. Gradually as the years went on there did come a need for males. Male amur leopards are larger then the females and perfect for fighting. A pack of females can take down a vampire with no problem but the problem came when another shifter pack began to intrude into the Amur's territory. Amurs are a very easy going society. They will share land and food with anyone but the other shifters that intruded were Tigers and they were typically not the sharing type. An epic battle went on for many years and gradually the Pack was nothing but an Alpha named Diana Alkaev who was a direct descendant of Elena, and 7 other female shifters. All of the male shifters parished in the tiger wars.
Diana as the alpha decided that the only way that she would be able to keep the pack alive was to move on to a land where there was no more wars. Diana took her pack to the Western side of Russia where they met a pack of Tigers. This pack of tigers were not the same as the pack they had wars with and she saw this as a way for the species to redeem themselves. Maybe they could live together and live in harmony.
The Alpha of the tiger pack was named Boris and instead of welcoming a new pack that could be his allies in the common fight against vampires he decided to shun them and force the Amurs to Oulu Russia. Before Diana left Boris and his pack she was filled with so much hurt and anger at the tigers that she cursed Boris and the pack and told them that one day a monster would be born that will destroy them. She told them that one would be born among them and he would be a monster. After fleeing the Tigers territory the only safe place for the pack was Oulu Russia where the pack currently resides today. When Diana passed away Irina graciously took the place as alpha.
Adrien was born to Irina Alkaev and Alexander Dostoevsky. She was the second born child to her parents and the first female child. Her mother was relieved after Adrien's birth because she didn't want to have more children and she knew that she would be expected to produce a female Alpha Heir. From birth Adrien was put through training to be the pack alpha. The odd thing with Adrien was that her father was a human. During the first generations of Amur leopards the Females would mate with male humans. There was nothing else for them to mate with. But when the first male leopards came along gradually the standard came that shifters only mated with other shifters. Since the tiger wars all the males were killed so Irina fell in love without inhibition with a human. After Adrien's birth Irina was criticized for not producing more female daughters just in case Adrien was not a shifter since her father was human. Irina held her head high and did not change her plans to have as few children as possible.
From a very early age Adrien went to school with all the other children in Oulu. The other children didn't really like to play with her because they were intimidated by her knowing that one day if they made the change and she made the change then she would be their alpha. She would never be the same as them and they would always follow her orders. Needless to say friends for Adrien were hard to find. There was only one person that was ever truly her friend and his name was Max, he was the only person that was himself around her. The fact that both of them were kind of the out casts in Oulu made them perfect friends. Max was the direct decedent of Tiger shifters and the only reason that he was allowed in the village was because his aunt, that was taking care of him, was a leopard shifter and because it wasn't know if he would make the change either.
Max and Adrien grew very close and as she was going through training to be an alpha, which included martial arts, gymnastics, and boxing, Max was there for her when her mother said she wasn't good enough yet. Adrien was constantly compared to her brother Fedor and she was sick of being compared to him but all she wanted was her parents approval. If she could practice a little more or study a little harder then maybe she would make her mother proud. Gradually Adrien just spent more time away from home and more time with Max and when her mother found out who she was hanging out with she flipped. She callend Adrien a disgrace and she quickly sent her to the states where she would be away from the rift raft of tiger spawn, as her mother would put it.
In the years that Adrien grew up many things changed in her life. Her father was killed in a car accident which completely devastated her. It was a very dark time in her life and she hoped that she would have been able to spend more time with him, instead of in the states. The next big thing that happened in Adrien's life was that her brother never shifted and so the pressure was on Adrien to shift when her time came. It wasn't like she could just make herself do it. She either had the gene or she didn't and only time would tell. A while later she found out that Max shifted into a beautiful Tiger without stripes and she began to think that she would never shift as well. That all the training that she had went through was in vain and that she was a failure as her mother always liked to mention.
Adrien graduated from school 1 year early and she headed back home, not a shifter and without any symptoms of becoming a shifter. Her mother was beginning to think that she was going to have to have another child when Adrien began to show the tell tell signs that she was beginning to make the change. She made the change and still her mother would not tell her she was proud of her. There was nothing in her mother that would tell you that she was happy that her daughter was following in her foot steps. For three years Adrien ran with the pack and did as her mother asked when she met up with max again and he said that he was going to the states and asked if she wanted to go as well. Adrien told her mother that she was going to go to the states with Max to help him out with some things and for once her mother didn't react negatively. Adrien left the next day to be with her best friend in the world and to go back to the place that she called home, the USA.

John had just recently moved into his families Cleveland home and he was not very happy about it. The fact that he was forced to leave NY just because he happily choose to feed off of his intended diet didn't make him a bad person. His sisters were incredibly pushy at times especially when they joined forces and he was not very happy about them pushing him to hick town USA. John had not fully gotten the chance to explore the surrounding areas of Cleveland but he was hungry and he was looking for a hot meal. He was driving his Carbon Grey Lotus Elise SC with Dark red leather seats which were great for snacking on the go. He was driving along when he stumbled across a sign that read 'Welcome to Plainsville.' He sighed hoping that the plain in plainsville did not refer to its women. If so this would be a quick meal where he wouldn't even get to enjoy toying with his dinner.
The first building he came across was a shabby diner named T bones. A place that his sisters wouldn't have even given a second look to but he thought to himself that maybe he would be able to enjoy the company of a little small town waitress for dinner. He would be his naturally charming self, tip her well, and show her some interest and she would be his. John smirked at his little flawless plan as he pulled into the parking lot. All the vehicles there were little cheap vehicles that the common people used. Fords, Chevrolet, Honda, Etc. obviously vehicles that he didn't want any where near his Lotus so he parked all the way in the back of the small parking lot which was the furthest away from the other vehicles yet still in perfect view from the window. If all else fails he knew he could convenience any waitress to take a little ride in his car.
John stepped out of his car and he looked down at his banana Republic shoes and he sighed again at the sight of them. He was trying to slum it and blend in with the commoners and couldn't help but miss his Armani suit and shoes. Banana Republic just didn't cut it for his tastes but it was a sacrifice that he was hopping would be well worth it. He stretched when he stood up completely and he glanced at his reflection in the cars tinted windows. His Khaki pants and white and blue plaid shirt where not something that was even going to make it into his closet. He was disgusted at his appearance but the thing is it was what was normal around here he was sure so he just tried to blend in.
The door to the diner opened up and he watched a family leaving it was an ok looking middle aged woman, a fat and grumpy man, and two young brats. John couldn't help but feel sorry for the man as he thought about how his woman must have taken advantage of him in some way to get the man to agree to be with her this long. No wonder he looked so grumpy. John walked into the diner before the door even shut from the exiting family. Instantly the first thing that caught his attention was the scent of another vampire. His eyes scanned the tables and he saw a beautiful woman in the far booth and he couldn't help but hope that she might be interested in playing with dinner with him. He placed his hands in his pockets and strutted over to the woman's table and spoke to her looking her in the eye. Want to join me for dinner? I am sure we could find a sexy little number that might please us both. Then after wards they could have some awesome dessert sex. He couldn't think of a better way to spend the evening. Without waiting for her answer he sat across from her in her booth and quickly scanned for the best looking female in the diner.
