Vampire babiess?!

So this site has vampire babies... like mommy vamp and daddy vamp fall in love and a big bird drops off a baby. Right? Nope.

I'm a little bit confused as to how vampires have babies. From what I understand... if a male and a female vamp do it, the female can get prego. This female then gives birth to a human baby, which they can then choose to change into a vamp at a later time. If this is the case, does she go through a 9 month pregnancy? How does she resist eating the human baby?

There is also a (slim to none?) possibility that this fetus gets infected with the poison and becomes vamp while in the tummy. If this is the case, is the pregnancy shortened because the baby will grow faster? Or will the baby not grow at all, being stuck in fetus form forever? Or is it like a half human half vamp - being that it is born, grows to adulthood and then gets stuck?

Ok, so please understand before I tell you our baby rules....that it makes no sense at all, haha. We tried to make it work the best we could so that vampires could still have children. After all, we are not STRICTLY Twilight, or any other vampire tale.

Slim to none chance they'll be born vampire? Yes...and a mother has a deeper bond than anything, so I doubt it'd be a struggle not to eat them...although that would be a killer plot, lmao XD. I know one of my characters would probably do that. Also, when they are born vampire, they DO grow to full-sized adults....odd I know considering an immortal child would stop growing....but the reason we had to do this was how the former-former site did things, we had to explain why some characters were BORN vampires.

If the baby is a human baby, then yes they go through a 9 month cycle like any normal pregnancy, and the mother DOES have to eat human food as well as her own blood. If the baby somehow gets turned into a vampire, the pregnancy is much quicker, as Nessie was.

Thanks for clering things up, this will make it much easier to continue on with the creation of Impy Jr. If I have anymore questions on this topic, I'll just post them here.
