graphics in threads

So recently i made two new graphics for my threads - the one for Piper in Sophisticated Intoxication being one of them.

So when I put them in the thread they resized themselves and they are way smaller than they actually are. Is there a reason why they resized themselves? Is there something I can do to make them keep their original size?

This might be a weird/dumb question but I would love help.

Ok heres the deal,
we have a code on site, that resizes things so they are no larger than 500px wide. That means if your pic is above 500px it will be shrunk to that size. Thats the only thing i can think of that would make them do that.

Is that only for width?

this is one, its over 500 in height and not width but its being resized.

its not larger than 500 either way.

Can you think of anything else that might be causing it?

ok so it was the heigh when i went in and had a look. I have extended it to 500 but thats as far as i am going.
