The staff has decided that there are too many vampires with powers. We're going to have to make a crack down which mean that just because you apply for one, does not mean you will get one. We are adopting a coin flip system.
HOWEVER, if the power is not understandable, is not properly balance, or seems too godly; it will be automatically denied. I know it seems unfair, but because of the number of vampires with powers, we need to make sure that the privilege is rewarded to those who understand the responsibilities of a power.
Technically the system was already in place, we just kinda were very relaxed about this rule. We have had members who were upset that they were not rewarded a power so we want to make sure everyone understands this rule. We ask that members respect the decision of the staff, we are doing this in a fair manner. In fact, staff will double check with another staff member about not understanding a power. MEMBERS SHOULD NOT GO TO ANOTHER STAFF TO GET A NEW ANSWER! THAT IS AGAINST THE RULES! It will cause you to receive a warning and if this occurrence happens again, you may be banned.
If you have a problem, pm the staff member. Contrary to popular belief, we don't bite and we do listen. If you send us messages that are derogatory or otherwise hateful, the message will not be considered confidential and will be shared with the head admin and judging by the severity of the message, the rest of the staff team.
If you do not think that you can pm a certain staff member without resorting to such behavior, do not pm them. It is perfectly fine to pm another member of the staff to talk to the person you're having an issue with. It is not okay to ask for a different result.
