~ about me : Larcan has perseverance ("nothin' gonna stop me"). He is really good at wooing ladies without even trying. It must be his natural bada$$, edgy vibe mixed in with that sweet smile of his. He is very self-reliant ("I need no one to wipe my nose or tie my shoes"). He likes to get by on his own means. He doesn't like to listen to the advice people gives him. Larcan knows how he wants to live his life so you best just let him be. He is rebellious - sometimes a strength but usually just gets him into trouble. There is something about authority and obeying orders that he personally don't like. Sure others like to be dogs and follow the boss, but not him... He make his own rules. Sometimes he is insensitive - he often forgets that not everyone is wired like him. He is often distant/aloof -he frequently live in his own world and he will block out what he doesn't want to see or hear.
Larcan is 6'1" and weighs about 165lbs. He has lighter skin like his father. Larcan somehow managed to get baby blue eyes with his dark air - adding of course to his appeal to women. He's knows he's handsome but thinks women mostly love him because of his strong animal pheromones. He works out so is in top shape.
In his leopard form he has shiny pearls for fangs. He has mastered the skill of perfect stillness to add to his stealth - but of course like all cats, his tail is untameable. His paws are large and good for swatting. There is something about the pattern of his fur that almost mimics the slither of snake which he knows is a touch of his father's genes.

~ history :
Larcan as well as his twin sister Chloe were born in 22 years ago to his parents Melissa and Patrick in Dublin, Ireland. He had a brother 3 years his elder and would later come to have 2 more sisters and a brother. His parents thought it was a great idea to give him the middle name Padraig which is another form of Patrick. They thought it was a great way to give tribute to his da, Patrick without being repetitive. Larcan knew that his parents were plain wrong though. There hasn't been a week of peace when one of his siblings, or some stupid kid who learned his middle name decided to mock him for it. People often thought it was hilarious to make references to him and drag queens, his siblings on the other hand loved to milk the fun of torturing him with patty pancakes. This was the beginning of the end for Larcan's sweet as sugar baby days. He soon turned into a bitter child that was willing to do anything to prove he was tough, not to be messed with and definitely not one who could be mistaken for a drag queen or patty pancakes.
When Larcan and Chloe were 5 their parents made them join their older brother Reece at Catholic school. Larcan decided no place on earth came closer to Hell that that place. Sure the nuns were nice, expect when they weren't and they'd slap his knuckles with their rulers. He always made sure to watch their faces, some honestly looked pained to have to punish him, but there were a few that seemed to enjoy it and that really ticked him off. The ones that enjoyed it also thought they were clever for getting him in trouble for things that loopholes offered no escape from their punishment.
Larcan always got along well with Chloe. There was something about being twins, that innate bond that just always brought them back together no matter how hard they fought and no matter what insults they flung at each other. Reece on the other hand was controlling - at least when it came to him and he hated it. He couldn't understand why his life needed to be dictated by him just because he was older. Though the tension between him and his older brother was always there, and probably always will be, in his heart he loves his brother and would take a bullet for him if the need arose. Larcan and his younger brother Ronan are always in cahoots with each other and together they make quite the obnoxious pair of hooligans. As for his younger sisters, he loves them. He may take his anger out on them at times and act like a jerk but for the most part his softer side comes out more with them than with anyone else - well besides his dogs and Tiff his beloved motorcycle.
When Larcan was 8 he got his first swiss army knife to go on a camping trip with his dad, brothers and grandfather. He was hooked from that moment on. He couldn't get over the feeling of empowerment of holding the blade. Not only was it a knife but with a flick of the wrist it could change. It made him feel like a super hero, hiding multiple tricks up his sleeve. He often would play out his dreams of being a super hero using his knife. His ma of course was not thrilled that her 8 year son had a knife that he wouldn't put down but taking it away from him only made him act up even more. Ever since he has been collecting swiss army knives and always carries one on his person.
When Larcan was 9 his mother took him and his siblings to one of her friend's birthday parties because she couldn't find a babysitter. His mother was trying to bribe him to stay quiet and be good at this public event so she gave each of them a treat from the table at the party. The treat that Larcan received was a coconut snowball, of course his mother failed to tell him that it was coconut. All he heard was snowball treat so he shoved it in his mouth. The big grin on his rosy cheeks soon vanished as he realized that the treat was not delicious and scrumptious as promised but vile and repulsive. He immediately wanted to hurl it up but not wanting to ruin the old lady's floor or birthday party (he wasn't a complete a$$ yet) covered his mouth trying to hold it in as he ran through the house looking for a safe place to let it out. Larcan only magnified the problem for when he tasted his mucus in combination with the coconut made him gag causing his to puke all over the lady's new birthday dress she happened to be wearing. There was no mercy for him for his mother didn't believe until years later that it was really an accident and only occurred because she had given him such a horrible treat.
When he was 12 his parents now trusted Reece to keep the other children under control, or at least keep their mischief contained to their property. His parents went on a date to spend some much needed time together without their 6 kids. That night changed his life in more ways then he could ever realize. His parents were ambushed by a blood thirsty coven of vampire. Patrick a snake shifter was not strong enough to defend himself and his wife (a leopard shifter). Melissa was murdered that night leaving Patrick no choice but to run. He couldn't bare the idea of his kids growing up as orphans, though the memory will always haunt him. A day doesn't go by that his father doesn't wish it was him who had died that night and not Melissa. Larcan though he understands why his father ran, and why his father couldn't defeat a coven of vampires he cannot get over the grudge he holds still. The grudge of an angry heart that his father's weakness is the reason he and his siblings had to live without their mother.
The strain of loosing their mother in some ways brought the family closer but in many ways tore them apart. His father wasn't sure what he could do to help his kids grieve and cope with the situation. His solution was to move the family to America, far away from the memories of their mother, of their childhood, of anything that might trigger thoughts on what they had loss. The truth though was that vampires were continuing to threaten Patrick and his family, this and the convincing of his brother-law finally triggered him to take the initiative to move across the ocean. Larcan was not happy with his father's decision to move and no matter how much he voiced his opinion angrily his father pressed forward, hoping that in the long run it would be the best decision.
This was the year that Larcan got into drugs, drinking and triggered his addiction to nicotine. He did it to forget, he did it to mask the pain he felt but nothing could truly ease his sorrows. Forks Washington was a dead beat place compared to the bustling city of Dublin he had called home up until now. He convinced himself his addictions were just the only way to have fun, to keep his mind busy and enjoy life with his surroundings were so dull.
When he was 16 he by the beach gettin tipsy away from the eye of his father when he just couldn't control his anger. He thought it was the beer. Larcan was scared at how angry he felt, it was more intense than he'd ever felt and he couldn't pinpoint anything in particular to trigger such an outburst. He then realized that he was growing hair and his body soon morphed into a large leopard. After a few minutes of freaking out he heard a voice in his head, very distinct, very familiar - it was his brother Reece shouting "stay calm, stay calm". Larcan spun around trying to see where his brother was calling to him from when he realized his voice was inside his head. A few minutes later Reece appeared from behind him in the woods in his own Leopard form. "Where were you? Were you in my head? Get out! Get out!" Larcan yelled at his brother. Reece laughed and explained things to him, including the fact that their Uncle Dillon - the same that convinced their father to move them to America had been the one training in the ways of being a leopard. They then found Chloe who also had gone through the change that same day.
The next few years Larcan found himself becoming more of a jerk as his impulsive, uncontrollable anger led him to voice insults he normally would only mutter under his tongue. He almost felt like he was going through a second puberty as his anger raged within him and his love for girl increased. Larcan was a bit horrified that in the end he'd had to "mate" with just one because he'd imprint and lose most interest in others. He couldn't see such an event in his future but his brother and uncle told him it was eminent. The struggle for control between him and his older brother increased as he believed that any edge Reece may have had went out the window after he was able to shift. The tension between him and his father increased as non of the advice or admonitions given to him went through one ear and out the other, believing that in the end his leopard shifting skills made him superior. In the end being able to shift made him so cocky you would think he was a rooster - not a leopard.
After high school Larcan left the house and got his own place. A tiny, trashy joint but it was his and he had the power to make the rules which was all he needed. He didn't go to college like his brother and sister, instead he decided to just take on a variety of jobs, just making enough to get by. He has goals but doesn't ever share them with the family because he doesn't like them judging him or having an idea that seems good to him be shot down.
Larcan still has his shop in La Push but has decided to move away to Ohio. He wants to try something new and get away from that pit hole.

~ role play sample :
“Yeah, as much as I would love to get another black eye” Larcan was the type of guy that was always sporting them. If he was in a bar, and a fight broke out you could pretty much guarantee that Larcan was in the middle of it. He wasn’t the type to usually go out of his way to rough it out with the local loosers at the bar, but his sarcastic tone and harsh blunt comments he made to the guys he didn’t care about often triggered them to swing at his face. Often he would be caught off guard with their first swing but once he realized he was in the ring you definitely realized you’d bit off more than you can chew. Larcan had been in a lot of fights, since he was rebellious young kid. He was used to seeing the usual moves, he could calibrate attacks that the fighting noobs, and meat head thugs wouldn’t see coming and no one had as much stamina as him. You could gang up on him, beat the crap out of him but he wouldn’t back down, he wouldn’t cry or show his pain. No he was above that, he had too much pride to let you get what you wanted to see. Larcan went back to joking with Taro and Lucy. He scratched him chin looking pensive “I just don’t think it works too well with my school boy looks. I have one of those pretty faces that make babies feel comfortable and charm the cheek pinching elderly. Wouldn’t want to lose that because of Patrick now would I?” His face looked serious as he was in character for the joke. Larcan looked far from a school boy with his fierce stance, normally grungy looks and bad boy scruff.
When the three of them took their seats, Larcan couldn’t help but feel accomplished as he got to sit next to Taro. It was what he wanted, though as much as could see why Taro was a great girl, he couldn’t figure out why he seemed so set on the idea. Lucy left to buy them glow sticks. His mind was trying to figure out what this band was going to be like… trombones and glow sticks… like a classical music rave maybe? Larcan wasn’t sure how interesting or enjoyable this band was going to be but he was intrigued to hear what the blood hell they were fusing together. As Lucy left him alone with Taro his mind almost convinced him he was nervous. He shook it off, shit why the hell would he be nervous? He never got nervous and it would be a cold day in hell before a woman would do that to him. That was his job, his suave ability to make them swoon.
Larcans eyes glanced down at her thumbs twirling around each other. He thought they were going to spin right off her hand. She was definitely feeling some kind of nerves. A small side smile crept up the right side of his cheek. He could see she was about to say something but before she did he asked, “Are your hands training for the olympics?” he grabbed one of her hands and started a thumb wrestle. Larcan smiled trying to see how distracting he could be to her as she tried to say whatever it was she was saying. Taro told him that Lucy had mentioned meeting him. ”We met at the beach, shit I’m not even sure how it happened” Larcan really wanted a cigarette right now. He had a fake one as well, it smelled like apple and wondered if that was allowed in a place this. ”Took her to a bonfire with me, she damn hungry” he held in a chuckle remembering all the food and toppings she had wanted. Larcan could tell that Taro wanted to lean in closer to him. The tension between them was there, but she was holding back but he couldn’t figure out why. Taro didn’t seem like the type to play mind games or hard to get. It was very curious.
Taro began to spazz a bit. She was acting odd. At first she was having a hard time looking at him it seemed. Then she wanted popcorn and drinks. Taro then gazed at him in such a way he knew she was thinking of him. He’d seen that look a million times but again she held back the second Lucy reappeared. Larcan let it go. It wasn’t the time to get into that kind of crap here. Lucy handed out the glow sticks and he thanked her. Lucy was saying that she hardly ever got to do nice things for people. Larcan laughed heartily at that. “Lucy you’re a bloody saint, damn and you don’t even know” he smiled at her; this was his way of giving compliments. It wasn’t very orthodox and people sometimes took it the wrong way. It was true though, Lucy was one of the nicest people he had met, shit it made him feel like a complete a$$hole. Lucy brought up how she and Taro had met a guy Alec on the beach. Larcan was curious to his this guy was. He was also wondering if it was habit of Lucy’s to run into random men at the beach. The comment would have been innocent enough and wouldn’t have bothered Larcan if Lucy hadn’t used that tone (like she was remembering the flirty atmosphere that ensued after this Alec guy was around ) and if she hadn’t been speaking with her eyes over at Taro (it was that girl body talk language. Larcan couldn’t translate that shit but he recognized it. His sisters always talked like that, giving each other subtle hints and clues like that). “Alec? Is he a kid from the Rez?”. Larcan was curious to figure out if he somehow knew this guy from his long list of acquaintances.
Lucy then talked about inviting him over to her house. “Damn, I’d love to see your place. I bet its nicer than the piece of shit I live in. I like it though… it’s in the middle of nowhere, its quiet”. Larcan couldn’t help but feel like going to Lucy’s house would be a strange, new experience. Guys invited him over to be there drinking or smoking buddies. Shit they didn’t need another guy there, but it usually made them feel less like alcoholics or hardcore stoners if they had a friend doing it with them. It was a way of denying the truth. Larcan didn’t need a buddy or denial of facts when it came to that shit but if someone was going to offer him free booze or hits than hell he’d take it. When women invited him over, they were only after one thing. They’d again try to get him drunk but usually girl just got herself so wasted she wouldn’t remember a damn thing anyways so he wouldn’t bother. He didn’t need any accusations of rape on his already trashed record.
Taro then asked to go to the restroom. She was acting all spastic, Larcan thought it was pretty damn funny. Lucy gave Taro directions and instructions about finding the restroom without a mishap trip into the men’s room. A string of memories flashed into Larcan’s mind remember standing over a urinal at a bar when a drunk woman walked in. Her face turned bright red then it got shockingly pale, he thought her heart stopped or something and she practically pissed right then and there. Larcan had that affect on women though so it just made him laugh. Taro then brought it to his attention that he was in the way. Larcan moved his legs to let her pass but right as she got right in front of him he squeezed his legs around her pushing her back into the chair in front of her. What’s wrong? Are you stuck?” again he put on his serious face. He was just being playful is all. Larcan loved bugging his sisters like that. After letting her struggle for a minute he reached into his pocket and gave her 20 dollars ”Here that should cover drinks and popcorn for all of us” he looked at Lucy ”My treat for the ladies” his eyes returned to Taro as he released her.
As soon at Taro left, Lucy leaned over and asked him what he’d been up to. ”Uhh… well, nothing too exciting. Just fixing cars at the garage, playing with my dogs… my life isn’t exciting” he shrugged. It was true, as of late the air had been stale as shit. The only thing new was that his sister was pregnant and he was dealing with that but he wasn’t about to bring that up right now. The whole thing pissed him off too much. He wanted to get the subject off of him, he hated being the center of conversations. ”What have you been up to Lucy?”. Lucy was telling him how he’d know when the show was about to start. ”They can play that shit all they want but I really don’t think anyone will care to remember what they say if there was a real emergency. People are just like that… they’re like any other animal. They go with their instincts to stay alive, even if it means…” his voice trailed off. He was going to say ‘sacrificing others to sustain their craphole of a life’ but figured that was too depressing for a flower child like Lucy.
Taro returned and he let her through without bugging her about it. Lucy asked to hear about the tree outside the garage story. Larcan looked up at Taro, letting her take that one. He didn’t like to talk to much and had greater confidence in Taro’s story telling abilities… she was an Indian right? Yeah if his sisters would have heard that thought they’d call him a racist a$$hole even if he didn’t mean it. To him everything and anything could be a joke, it was just too bad no one else could see when something was funny. Larcan felt something graze across his hand and when he looked realized it had been Lucy’s. He wouldn’t have thought anything of it, shit happens but the way she was blushing and looking at her feet told him another story. It was just then that Larcan was starting to realize that perhaps that graze wasn’t as innocent as it had seemed. Did Lucy like him? Was he in middle of a budding love triangle? Larcan’s mind was cussing ‘shit, shit, shit’ because he hated that crap but still it didn’t change it a thing did it? Larcan gave a small smile to Lucy to forgive her for the ‘accidental’ touch. Maybe she was just being awkward – he could only hope. He then looked away, almost afraid to see what she was truly thinking.
