~ about me :Malice is one of the more awkward people, though she tries to hide it by acting smooth. It never works. She does not have great social skills and cannot handle stressful situations well, so she does her best to either stay alone or stick close to the few people she trusts. She loves nature and animals, but tends to think that people are confusing and not worth the time to figure out personally, if they will not bother figuring her out first. Though she is not easy to anger, when she does become angry she will not let it go too easily and holds grudges for extremely long times, if she even gets over them at all. But, before ever getting into a disagreement with someone, Malice will try her best to avoid any confrontation as much as possible.

~ history :

Vhaidra and Earl met in high school. They both came from shifting families and were fairly good-looking people. Earl always wanted to date Vhaidra, but wanted to fight for their country. After he joined the military, shortly after completing his schooling, they kept in touch and she wrote him often, sending pictures back and forth as well. Finally, once he was released and allowed to return home, they settled down, got married, and had a child. Thus, Malice was born.

The family lived in a small apartment in the city, trying to live a normal and happy life. Vhaidra stayed at home with the baby and Earl had a job at a local factory as a mechanist. While on the job on day, it was raining hard and he was working on some wiring. The power was supposed to be shut off before men started spraying down the concrete flooring, but somehow it was overlooked and the floor was extremely wet. A wire dropped and Earl ended up being electricuted to death. No one even found him until his shift was over and a supervisor saw the body. Malice was a year-and-eight months old. Vhaidra found out when the phone rang during her favorite TV show. Thinking that it was Earl calling on a break, she rushed to the phone with a smile on her face. It was his supervisor. Since then, she never loved again and stayed alone, with the exception of her daughter.

Malice grew up happily enough. Vhaidra kept her fed and dressed, but never told her of their heritage until one day, on Malice's 16th birthday, the change began. Vhaidra did her best to calm the girl and helped her with her temper and transformations. After a few years, Malice talked her mother into letting her move away. Vhaidra did not want her to go, fearing that something would happen either to her or someone else, revealing what they had hidden for so long. But Malice reassured her that everything would be fine. This is how she came to Forks, seeking a refuge from the loneliness she felt just being with her mother. She needed to find a new pack and a new life.

~ role play sample :

The cool clear water moved around the young woman's body as she stood waist-deep in the creek, watching small fish go by. The girl's form was still, dark brown eyes contemplating which one to go for. She could easily go to the market and get food, but it was much cheeper to catch it on her own. It was good practice, considering she was probably not going to be able to pay her own rent the next time it came around. May as well learn how to fend on my own.

Malice's hair was light brown, always seeming to be overly messy and bushy. The only times she was willing to brush it was at the end of the day, just to be sure it did not get tangled enough to have to be cut off. As she stood there, hair shifting in the breeze, she could not feel the discomfort most people would feel standing in the water in this season, due to her warm nature. Sometimes it irritated her, but she was thankful for it, none-the-less.

Finally, see saw a fat fish coming toward her from upstream. Crouching down to pull her chest under the water, Malice quickly positioned herself and watched closely to make sure she was in its way. Between her hands was a small net she had made herself. She widened her arms and watched as the fish blindly fell into her trap. Quickly, she jerked the net up, grabbing all sides and leaning away as it came out of the water in her hands. The gray fish jerked and flopped, causing water to fly in different directions. Malice turned her head to the side and squinted until most of the water had been flipped off its body. It was not an overly large fish, nothing too special, but it would be more than enough to satisfy her that night.

She was glad she caught it. Some days, there would not be any good catches, and she would be forced to hunt a larger land animal, or a bird. Killing them was more difficult for her to bear than killing a fish, for some reason, though she killed land and air animals in her wolf form. At least, this time, she did not have to deal with anything like that.
