When Bella moved to Forks she never thought that she would find anything worth her time there. However, her father Charlie had been long time friends with the people there and he told her they were good people, and she felt this was very true. Especially when she met Jacob Black. For Jacob it was the flash of heat, the sizzle of his nerves and he suddenly knew he had imprinted on Bella Swan. It was both enticing and terrifying at the same time. Still he didn't want to scare her but while there father's played catch up they talked and both came away with a feeling of Destiny.
The Cullen of Forks, had all lived peacefully, the most popular kids in school. Though it could have been envy or it could have been the fact that they all lived together yet were dating that bothered the students. All of the Cullen's had seemingly paired up. Emmett and Rosalie, Edward and Tanya well all of them except Alice. Whom had been having visions lately of a dark haired young man coming to her.
Forks was about to become the play ground of a ancient darkness, so old only the Volturi really knew of it. Calling to it all sorts both Vampires and Shape Changers alike.
The Whitlock Coven from Texas was drawn in bringing with it Maria and Jasper Whitlock red eyed vampires with a tale of their own to tell.It seemed something was taking over vampires making them act against there own nature. Maria herself had been a target of this but had been saved by Jasper breaking what ever it could have been's control over her. With the link between herself and her former sire broken Maria's power of bond breaking had become active. Allowing herself and Jasper to help as many as they could as though wanting to atone for past sins. The couple and there small coven settled into Forks as well. Though this really doesn't settle well with the La Push Pack.
As for the La Push Pack it has its own issues to deal with Jacob imprinting on Bella. Than the arrival of other shifters to the area. Some kin and others unusual. The Selkies from the Sea whom the Pack has a long standing pact with make there presences known. Confusion is only added to when Leah Clearwater, imprints of the Selkie Leader's oldest son.
Bella and Edward meet, and the sparks are there between the two of them. Much to both Tanya and Jacob's irritation. Though they both try to ignore it. They wind up lab partners.
The arrival of silver eyed vampire makes things even more complicated and make the fact the Volturi will be altered all the more certain. Are the silver eyed vampires friends or foes and what connection do they have to the growing darkness because
