Rosalie is kind of like a rose, she can be sweet, like the smell of a rose, or she can be a bitch like the thorns on the rose. She is strong hearted and what she believes in is what she goes for. She is not easily persuaded, and she doesn’t take to kindly to blonde jokes. She is a compassionate lover to Emmett and if it were possible for her to have children she would be the best mom out there. Rose loves a good day at the mall and if you were to compare her to today’s teens she would be labelled the shopaholic. Rosalie has also always been labelled shallow caring for beauty and riches for most of her human life and that carried on into her vampire life as well.

Her shallowness is more controlled now, she still cares about her beauty and not being wanted by people even with her being so beautiful, but she now also see’s the things in life that she missed by being shallow. She can see the good in things without having the material added to it. Her quick temper as slowly been learned to control but still can sneak out on occasion. Rosalie is most defiantly a Rose, with many thorns but also a path to the sweet smelling flower.

FULLHISTORY: April 15, 1915, was a warm day, warmer then what it should have been. Her parents say that it was her beauty even as a child that brought the warmth back to New York City. Rosalie Hale was born that day, to Henry and Elizabeth Hale. She was the first of there soon to be three children, and also would become their favourite. Her father was a banker and like most other women of the time her mother stayed at homing, keeping the house in perfect condition. Rosalie was three when her mother had Patrick, even though her nose was out of joint of not being the baby anymore, and from having everyone always paying attention to Patrick, Rosalie still wanted to help her mother look after him. She was with her mother everywhere, and when Elizabeth became pregnant with James, Rose was ecstatic.

As she was growing up she became the perfect child, she helped her mother around the house, and she became strikingly beautiful. It was then that her parents saw her real potential. She soon stopped having to do chores around the house, her parents would buy her the most beautiful dresses even though they could not really afford it. Rosalie took on her parent’s generosity, knowing that she was truly beautiful and believing that she did deserve it. When she wasn’t forced to go out with her parents to parties, she acted like a normal kid. Hanging out with her brothers, well as much as she could stand once it got dirty she was back inside or away from the dirt, reading or playing with dolls or puzzles.

It was when she turned fifteen that her parents began to change her life completely. Her body had begun to develop even more then and her parents saw this beauty as a straight shot to there riches. She was made now to go to every party her parents attended showing herself to the many single bachelors of New York. Rosalie loved it. At theses parties all eyes were on her, she danced with many of the men, not really taking a liking to them her eyes were all for Royce. Royce King was as close to Royalty as New York had, and when he began to take and interest in her, her parents tried to make sure that he would see Rosalie at all parties. She was 17 when he began courting her, of course thanks to her parents, her father knew that he was coming in one day, Henry had Elizabeth send Rosalie over with his lunch knowing that once Royce got a true look at her he would be hooked. They were right.

Soon flowers were delivered to Rose every night, she couldn’t have been more happy. Not long after her eighteenth birthday, Royce asked her parents if he could have her hand in marriage, nothing could have pleased them more. It was two weeks before her wedding when Rose decided to visit an old friend Vera. Vera had been her child hood best friend, she was no where near as good looking as Rosalie was and that always seemed to make her happy inside. On this night though she wished that Vera’s life was her own, Vera had married young, and had just had a child. A beautiful baby boy. Rosalie also liked the way Vera’s husband touched her, when he touched her she could sense the love, and that was something she never felt with Royce.

It was late when she was leaving Vera’s having got caught up playing with her baby, and talking to her old friend. Rosalie thought about calling her father to escort her home but she figured that it was silly, seeing as it was not that far from where she was now. On her way home she had to pass a tavern, as she passed a group of men walked out and began to shout rude and obnoxious things at her. Rosalie tried to ignore it until she heard a familiar voice say her name, the voice belonged to her Royce. She of course stopped thinking that nothing was wrong, now that Royce was here, that was until he began to tell her to show his friends what she had, and when he tugged at her close ripping them and hurting her she let out a cry of pain. Her cry of pain sparked something in the men, and they began to beat her more, and after the beating they raped her.

As Rosalie begged for death, Carlisle came to her aid and took her off to change her into a vampire knowing that human remedies would have never worked on her body. When Carlisle got her back to the place where he would change her, he bit her wrists, ankles and neck to make sure all the venom got into her system. Rosalie then experienced the worst pain of her life for three days. While she was in this pain Carlisle explained to her what he was and what she would become. He told her about there way of life. When Rosalie was changed she felt better. She was even more beautiful then before and now she was extremely strong and fast to add onto that. When she became the vampire she went and found all of Royce’s friends and killed them not shedding a drop of there blood knowing then she could not contain herself and she didn’t want that filth in her body. She saved Royce for last, she even wore a wedding dress while she tortured him. Not once tasting a drop of his blood.

For the next two years she lived with the Cullens never truly happy, there was always something missing to her. It was one day while she was hunting in the woods that she discovered what was missing. She found a man being attacked by a bear, he was intches from death when she took him back to Carlisle. She begged him to change him for her, it was he who she was looking for. He reminded her of her old friend Vera’s son. When Carlisle finished with biting Emmett Rosalie sat with him for the three days while he changed waiting and hoping that when he awoke he would want to stay with them and be with her. Luckily for her he did, and soon they were married.

Rosalie and Emmett have always lived with Carlisle and Esme, some nights they would live in there house and other nights they would be at there own (its not like the slept though). Even though Rosalie had everything, eternal life, eternal beauty, she still felt like something was again missing. There was something that Rosalie could never have, a baby. Vampire bodies never changed, there was no way she could ever have a child with Emmett, there was no way she could have ever been as happy as her friend Vera. Although living with the man she loved forever wasn’t to bad of a down set from that.

Rosalie’s life with the Cullens was never boring, there was always something strange happening. Like one day while they were out hunting, they were suddenly joined by two other vampires. Alice and Jasper. Alice had told them that she had seen them in the future for her and Jasper so here they were. That added two more vampires to Rosalie’s family, she now finally had a sister. It was funny, when they got back to the Cullen house, Alice moved all of Edwards things out of his room and put them in the garage. Rose still laughs when she remembers Edwards face when he got home from hunting. She didn’t know what she would do without a family like them, if it hadn’t been for them she would be dead, and if they hadn’t cared enough about her to tell her that there was another way to live besides drinking blood then she would probably be a monster right now.

The one thing that sucked about being a Cullen was that they moved around a lot, its not like she really minded it was the fact that she had to keep doing high school over and over and over again. It got a little repetitive to her. It was while repeating high school one time that the finial single member of the Cullen’s met his true love. Rosalie of course scoffed at that Edward had not taken a second look at her when she had been changed, and now he was going all gaga over a simple human, who’s looks compared nothing to Rosalie’s. Rose couldn’t believe it. She of course told Edward what he was doing was ridiculous, he couldn’t actually be with the human who’s scent was so addicting to him, he didn’t listen to her, no one ever does.

It was then with Bella Swan taking over Edward that the family started to have real drama. It revolved around Bella but it still brought some spice into the family, at a baseball game with the family they were met by some unwanted guests, who smelt Bella and decided HEY LETS KILL HER. Rose didn’t really care but since she was now part of the family according to Esme and Carlisle, she had to be nice. She helped Edward and Emmett set up a decoy trail while Jasper and Alice took Bella back to her moms house. The tracker was not that stupid and he soon loured Bella into her old ballet studio. Where he began to torture her but soon the Cullen’s jumped in saving her life and killing James.

Again drama struck at Bella’s birthday party where she cut her finger sending Jasper into a frenzy, he really didn’t mean to but it was the smell of her delicious blood that set him off. After that Edward didn’t think they should stay in Forks and harm Bella so they moved, they spent time all around the world that year, without Edward. He was off doing his own thing, upset that he left his heart back in Forks. Rosalie and Emmett went off for a bit as well they explored France, but soon returned back to Esme and Carlisle. They found out that Alice had gone back to check on Bella seeing Bella in her visions jump off of a cliff then her future disappeared. With how close Bella and Alice were Rose didn’t blame her for going back so when Edward called she told him everything that happened with Alice.

For Rosalie time seemed to stand still it felt like everything was going to be fine that was until the killings started. At first they only took note because of how the killings were it was classic vampire but then they started to worsen and more street kids, druggies and whores were going missing and being killed. Rosalie payed as much attention that was needed but nothing more, she spent most of her time after Edwards suicide attempt with Emmett but that was her usual anyway, to her she felt a little shunned by the family for telling Edward before Alice had found out if she was really dead or alive. Rosalie knew she should be shunned but non the less she didn’t like it. So when they figured out what was happening with the killings she jumped right in to help even if she did feel unwelcomed. Rosalie knew they would have to train to beet a newborn army, she also knew that they were likely to loose family members if they didn’t do it right.

When Jacob found out and volunteered in Rosalie though she didnt want to admit it was in right away, the less chance her family had of dying she would take it. Though she knew if one of the wolves died she would never hear the end of Bella’s complaining. The planning for the attack was critical and Rosalie made sure that when they trained she took note of every tactic her family presented to make it her own and be able to defeat and live. EVerything seemed like it would be prefect with the wolves helping there was no way the army could beat them, but that all had to change. Bella decided she couldn’t let Edward fight, the fact that this was all over her and that she wouldnt let Edward fight pissed Rosalie off. Her family had never faced any of this before Bella had come along and now they were just a dramatic little disaster waiting to happen.

The day off the fight Rosalie dressed in comfy clothes might as well be comfy while fighting. The fight that day was successful, non of the Cullens were hurt and the only one who really got hurt was Jacob because a member of the pack was showing off and Jacob jumped in. Edward ended up destroying Victoria the creator of the army and her side kick. Everything turned out happy, and Edward and Bella announced their engagement to the family. Everyone was happy Rosalie was not, she knew Bella was choosing a horrible life, as a human she could have kids and a future and a death as a vampire she couldnt. Rose wouldnt have chosen this life if she had been asked and so she would not choose it for anyone else. She did decide though to be kinder to Bella, she did’t want her knew sister think she hated her but she did want her to still know how she felt.

Everything flew by so fast in her life as a vampire Rosalie barely ever kept track of time anymore. The wedding past quickly and soon she recieved an unusual phone call from Bella, Bella was pregnant. Bella told Rosalie that Carlisle and Edward were going to make her abort the child and now she wanted it, she had never wanted children but now that the option was there she took it. Rose agreed to help her, a child around the house would be great, and if Bella died in the process Rosalie would take care of the child, not that she wished death on her she just knew if it did she would take the child as her own. When their plane landed at the airport Rose rushed to Bella, making sure the family knew what was happening she was helping her have the baby.

Throughout the pregnancy Rosalie was constantly near Bella she only left to feed, but she made sure that Carlisle and Edward fed when she did. Bella looked rough and at times Rose thought she wouldnt make it but once Jacob, who was constantly around the house now, thought of giving her blood everything went better. Bella actually looked good and was able to eat human food as well and was strong for the birth, though Edward thought they lost her when the baby tore through her but she was fine and everything turned out perfectly. Renesme was adorable and prefect, Bella lived and excelled in vampire life and the family was happy. Of course all good things must come to an end.

There cousin from the Denalie clan was mad at them from teaming up with the wolves who killed her mate for trying to kill Bella and so when she saw Nessie, who she thought was an immortal child she went to the Volturi. The Volturi’s decision was automatic and they came to Forks to kill the Cullens. The Cullens would not take it sitting down, all of them split up leaving Edward and Bella to convince the guests that they sent to the house that Nessie was from Edward and Bella when Bella was still a human. Rosalie went with Emmett to find a list of people that Alice had left for them, Alice and Jasper had taken off and it seemed as if they would not be coming back. Rose with Emmett traveled all over North America searching for all and any Nomads that they could find. They sent quite a few back and within a week they returned back themselves.

The house was filled with people who had chosen to stand and fight with them, and so Rose was ready, she knew that this could mean death for most of her family, and many nights her and Emmett stayed at their home Esme had built for them, so that they could take these lasts weeks to be with each other when they werent entertaining during the day at the Cullen house. Many people were excited about the fight they were sure was going to happen. The day came too soon and Alice never came home, the house was tense as the all left and made their way to the clearing that Alice saw, Rosalie never let go of Emmetts hand the entire time. The Volturi came and the atmosphere changed, everyone was hugging and saying good bye to each other as the watched the Volturi leaders talked with Edward and listened to their story but everyone could feel the fight coming on. It wasnt until Edward grabbed at Carlisle asking if he was okay did Rosalie notice something was actually different, Bella had moved her mind force around them protecting them from the Volturi's front line. Rosalie changed her opinions on Bella 100 percent that day.

Alice showed up with proof that Nessie wasnt going to be a problem right before the Volturi decided if she should be terminated or not. The family was ecstatic that she had come back they all had thought she had left them forever. With no reason for the Volturi to attack they left, tails between there legs and the family was left safe and sound. Rosalie couldnt find a reason to be happier.

RPSAMPLE: Rosalie parked her car in the garage quickly stepping out and grabbing her shopping bags in one hand. “That was fun” she said quietly to Alice as the walked toward the big beautiful house in front of them. She couldn’t wait to see Emmett, just being without him from early this morning when the sales first started to now eight pm at night felt like too long to her. She had gotten them so many clothes and now looking at all the bags in her hands she wondered if her and Alice had cleaned all the stores out. The money, that came with living for such a long period of time was one of Rose’s favourite things about being a vampire. The other was her beauty, it was her favourite thing when she was human and now that she got to stay beautiful forever it was still her favourite thing.


Somehow Rose opened the door letting Alice in first then stepping through shutting the door with her heel. “We’re home” she said allowed in a normal voice knowing that everyone could hear her perfectly. From above she could here shuffling it sounded like it was coming from Alice’s room, she noticed Alice heard it to and was already making her way up the stair case to see her Jasper. Rose laughed before setting her bags down near the stairs and walking toward the kitchen. It was weird that they would have a kitchen when no one in the house actually ate anything. Click, click, click her heels made on there hard wood floor as she walked into the kitchen smiling as she saw Esme and Carlisle. “Hey” she said walking over to them “Do you know where Emmett is” she could tell form the sent at the stairs that he wasn’t up in there room, and by the smell of the rest of the house he wasn’t inside. While she waited for there answer she looked in the window at her reflection, fixing a piece of stray hair. “Oh Rose honey, he went out to feed, he should be back soon. Did you have fun shopping” Rose smiled as her adoptive mother Esme spoke. Her voice always seemed to be able to bring a smile to Rosalie, even on grumpy days. “Thanks Esme, and it was lots of fun. I bought you something I’ll leave it on your bed. If Emmett comes back Im up in our room”

Rose walked the steps up to Emmett’s and her room at a normal human speed, there was no need to be fast if he wasn’t up there waiting for her. On her way to there room she stopped at Esme’s and Carlisle leaving the present she bought for Esme on the bed, a silk red dress that would be very flattering on her, she hoped Esme would like it. The rest of the stuff she took to her own room and began unpacking, putting anything she got for Emmett in his closet and trying everything of hers on before putting it away. What she kept on though was more flattering then she would show if she planned on leaving her room. She knew that none of the Cullen’s would come in and bug her, and she knew that as soon as Emmett got back they would be taking off to there own home for a little alone time. What she put on was pink lace undies, that looked almost like a skirt but not quite, they attached to white fishnet leggings. Her lace bra matched the skirt and pushed her boobs up nicely. She then went over to the mirror to again fix her hair and make sure that she looked stunning, which she did, so she went to the bed and laid down flipping through a magazine while she waited for Emmett.

Rose couldn’t help but think of everything going on in the house. Her brother was with a human, a human that Rose hated, well no not hated just didn’t understand. She was human she had everything that Rose wanted and she was willing to give it up. She didn’t know what she was giving up, she wouldn’t until it was to late, and even though she acted selfish Rose didn’t want her to go through the pain that her and Esme were going through. The pain of never being able to have children. You would think that having eternal life and beauty would take away the need to have children but it didn’t. Rose tried to explain it to Bella so that she would understand that she was giving up a lot, the reaction she got was what she had expected, for Bella to just brush it off and say that she had never wanted kids anyway. So typical.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a sound at the stairs and a sent that drifted up from them. It was her Emmett. He was finally home. She quickly threw the magazine off the bed and positioned herself so that Emmett would be barely able to resist her when he walked through the door. She could hear him still at the bottom of the steps talking to Edward about a kill he had made. Of course he had to sit there and explain every detail to Edward before walking up the steps. She rolled her eyes, just before he opened the door to there room. “Welcome home honey” her eyes never left his as she spoke in her most seductive voice. “Like what I bought?”
