rock in a dried up river. She was going to fast and one of the rocks was really smooth
so she went flying and got scratched up pretty bad.
ABOUTME :
Esi is a very goal oriented type of girl. She has goals and ambitions and she always has a game plan. As a child she used her ability for plots and schemes to formulate ways to be naughty without getting into trouble. Now she uses it to devise her life. She takes everything seriously - whether it be a soccer match, a gymnastics meet, work or a joke aimed at her. Esi doesn't always understand how to take a joke and she takes it personally.
Esi does have a very affectionate side though. She loves her siblings and family very much. She has a very motherly side to her. When she is old enough she thinks it would be really amazing to be a mother and have her own family. She would rather be more like her mother though and raise a more solid family, rather than her father who has started several that never really got off it's feet.
She loves to use sports and dancing to stay fit. As a kid she learned some traditional dances. She would eventually like to pick it up again and make it more of a hobby. Esi really wants to go study at a University in the States. She isn't exactly sure what she wants to do for a degree or career but knows she wants to have that college experience. She is scared that if she goes to college she won't be able to see South Africa for a long time. Being apart from her mum indefinitely is a scary thought for her.

FULLHISTORY:
Esi Brecker was born under very strenuous circumstances. Her parents were Neil Brecker and Dunia Fenyang. Her father is a pretty famous and well paid Anthropologist, more specifically an archaeologist. He already had 2 sons before helping to concieve Esi. His first son, Sterling was an accident baby as well. Niel was a 20 year old college kid on spring vacation in Australia. He met a beautiful girl named Sadie McCoy. They had an exciting 2 weeks together and 9 months later Sterling came into the world. Niel would send money to Sadie, he being from a rich oil mogul family in London. It wasn't until Sterling was 7 that he would come stay with his dad during the summers and holidays instead of Niel's once a year visit. Niel's second son came after he met Veronica Michelle Hopkins in Barbados. He was studying some old plantations on the island. She was also a daughter of Brits who had decided to move to the island. Niel had actually fallen in love with her, but 6 months after Robbie's birth she peaced out without a trace. He knew he had to get off the island, being there he was haunted with her memory and his broken heart. Niel took a job in South Africa, studying the indigenous people and their history in the area. One night he hired a babysitter and hit a bar to drink his sorrows like he tended to do. While there he met Dunia. She was having issues with her husband and so the two connected and made love - and unknowingly Esi.
Dunia and Niel were never really in love so they were in a pickle about what to do. They worked it out so that during the summer months and on holidays Esi would spend with Niel and the rest of the year be raised by Dunia and her husband Lenko. Dunia and her husband who were very much in love worked things out and got back together. They too already had a daugher, Mandisa. Lenko was miner and Dunia a cleaning woman for an office building. Niel gave the family money, he wanted Esi to have a better life and not have to live in the slums. Dunia took Niel's offer for help and got a job working at the front desk at Museum Africa which had much better wages. They were able to get a nice apartment in the city. Lenko was too proud for the help and so he still works at the mines outside of Johannesburg. Dunia is trying to push him to get a job as airport security.
Esi loves living in South Africa with her family. She has always been really close to her mother. Her mum is a woman full of life. She is funny, loving and full of wisdom. The best days are ones she can spend with her mum. Esi really feels like she can trust her mum with anything and its really a peaceful feeling. Her relationship with Lenko is a good one for the most part. Lenko is a big man, he is normally soft spoken and hardly says anything. When he is mad though he can be quite fierce with a booming voice and a body like the hulk. When she was born Lenko may have been biased for Mandisa, since Esi wasn't his blood but she won him over. Lenko does love Esi but he is a man who doesn't show love easily. Esi's sister Mandisa is 4 years older and has always been full of atitude. Esi usually keeps her distance from her. There are moments when they get along but its rare. At home in South Africa, Esi has a younger 10 year old sister named Ama. Ama is soft spoken like Lenko. She is a very sweet girl who shows emotions in her eyes and face rather than her words which are few. Esi loves to dote on Ama who loves it as well.
When Esi is living in South Africa she works at McDonalds. She doesn't enjoy it one bit but she has a strong work ethic. Esi always goes beyond and does all she can to help keep things running smoothly. If she sees a task that needs to be done she will do it right away as fast as she can. She hates to see things just lingering when she can just do it and move on. Esi graduated high school last year. She really wants to college in the states but leaving her family indefinately scares her. Esi can't bear to live without her mum and family in South Africa for long. Its the only place that has been a constant in her life. Her father wants her to go to his alma mater - Cambridge in England but Esi would rather not. She knows he would be willing to send her anywhere right now. Niether of her brothers have gone to college yet and she knows that her father is very worried she will follow in their footsteps.
In Esi's first year of life her father Niel came to pick her up, with her two older brother's in tow so that they could spend the summer together. Her father was living in New York at the time. He was doing research on some native american tribes that lived in the area. It wasn't long when her father met a fiery woman named Laquinta. She was a woman who was a total individual. She had the most unique hair-dos, tattoos and piercings. Laquinta definatly caught her father's eye and heart. She was a broadway star who lived for self expression and being artistic in your own right. Niel and Laquinta started a relationship together. Esi and the family moved into Laquinta's home which was a strange place indeed. To start off with - it was an old firehouse. Inside it was painted with abstract designs and had quotes and lyrics all over it. By the time Esi was 2 she had a new baby brother. Laquinta on naming the kid Rocket Seven Brecker. Niel was hoping for something more traditional or atleast something more like a name. Esi grew very close to both Robbie and Rocket Seven. She got along with Sterling alright but he was always off on his own being cool most of the time.
When Esi was old enough to go to school her father insisted she go to an international school. He wanted her to be completely fluent in English. At home her family spoke a Nguni langauge. While at the international school she also learned French and Latin. Scratch that, she can is alright at French, but Latin will never be a strong point. She barely got by with it.
When Esi was 7 she had, had her last summer in New York. Laquinta had decided that being a mother full time was holding her back from her art and her performances. After that Rocket Seven decided that Rocket Seven was a stupid name and now goes by Corry. When she was 8 she had her first summer in San Diego which was where her father had decided to move the family. He was now studying the tribes in that area. That summer her father met Alyssa Dwyer. She had been recently divorced from her ex Jeremy Ford. Alyssa had two kids of her own, Jordan 4 at the time and Ella who was 1. Alyssa was young, still naive and very bubbly. Niel was smitten by her.
In Esi's 9th year of life her mum and Lenko had Ama. Esi was very excited for Ama's arrival. Ama was just as cute and sweet as Esi had hoped. The two are usually inseperable. Mandisa is secretly jealous about their relationship. This was also the year that her dad proposed to Alyssa. He had never married Laquinta, despite living with her for several years as a family. Maybe he wanted to things right this time around.
When Esi was 10 her mum's sister Shakina and her husband Kopano Kefentse were killed in a car crash. Dunia took in her sister's two surving daughters Palesa who was 12 at the time and Isoke who was 7 in as her own. Palesa was only a year younger than Mandisa and the two became very tight. They were an awful trouble causing duo. The three younger girls usually played as far away from them as possible. In Esi's 11th year, Niel's new wife Alyssa gave birth to Charlotte Brecker. They would soon get into the habit of lovingly calling her Charlie. She was a sweet kid, an overly needy kid but still cute.
At age 12 Esi started middle school. It wasn't as cool as it was for her older siblings who got to go to a new school. She just moved up a grade at her International school. Esi always secretly wanted to be a cheerleader but they didn't have any at her school because there were so few students. When she would practice her gymnastics she'd always pretend there were people cheering her on in the stands. If she was alone she would make up cheers and routines. Her 12th year was pretty rough on her. She started puberty and felt like a weirdo. Esi was always jealous of her older sister Mandisa who was beautiful and popular with the guys without even trying. Her older brothers were also charmers and savy. It made her feel like the biggest looser when she couldn't even look at a guy in the eyes for more than 2 seconds without blushing or orgetting how to breathe.
Esi's high school years were not much cooler than her years in middle school. She would always look forward to summer and holidays in San Diego with her Dad and his family. The year previous to her freshman year was her last with Sterling. He was now 18 and decided to kick back in Australia, not traveling to see dad. She missed Sterling who was always a good listener - if you could catch him. Dad tried convincing him to go a university but he said it wasn't for him. Sterling decided to run his mum's cattle ranch to the dismay of her father who wanted him to be a doctor or a company CEO.
In Esi's sophmore year in high school she became co-captain on her soccer team. She'd always loved soccer and played it everyday after school with her friends and the neighorhood kids. Her dad paid for her to be on a soccer team and gymnastics since she was a little kid. He wanted her to be able to be whatever she wanted. When she got to be co-captain it was a dream come true.
In Esi's junior year Robbie moved out of the house. He moved into an apartment near the beach and became a surf bum. All he wanted to do was surf or play basketball. Robbie was a super smart kid. He could calculate anything as quick as finger snap. Robbie always tried to hide how smart he was. He was afraid of being seen as a geek and just wanted to do his thang which was basketball and surfing. This was also the year that Mandisa and Palesa moved out together.
Esi's senior year was hard. There was a lot of pressure on her to apply to college but she hadn't decided where she wanted to go yet. She knew she wanted to but she couldn't bring herself to sign herself away to live away from her family and home in South Africa. This year she finally won a first play medal at the annual big gymnastic meet she went to. She'd come home empty handed plenty of years, but usually with 3rd or the even more dreaded 2nd place. This year she won 3 gold medals and it was the best feeling in the world to finally see her practicing come to be something worth wild.
Esi graduated as one of the top students in her class. It wasn't a hard feat, seeing as there were only 35 in her class. Her parents, all 5 of them (Dunia, Lenko, Niel, Alyssa& Laquinta) were all very proud of her. Her grandparents in London sent her a camera as a graduation gift. She had 2 graduation parties - 1 in Johannesburg, 1 in San Diego and then her dad took her and the family too see Laquinta and then her grandparents for mini celebrations with them. It was quite the ordeal. Even her brother Sterling and his mum Sadie sent her the coolest cowboy boots she had ever seen. Robbie sent her a waterproof watch. Last year her family moved to a small town called Forks, Washington. Her dad was working with the Quileute tribe on the nearby La Push reservation. He was trying to do research on their legends how they are still being used today. They had moved right before Halloween so she still hadn't seen this place. Her brother Rocket, or Corry as she called him called her all the time. From the details he gave her, it was pretty much a hell of nothingness. He said he was always bored, no one had a sense of fashion and everyone was hickish and smelly. Corry was also having a hard time because he was getting picked on by the overly obnoxious boys at the high school. They didn't like how he dressed and that he was gay. They would shout at him in the hallways. It really furiated her, it was her brother and they didn't understand him like she did. They didn't know what a sweet guy he was.Esi is excited that summer is almost here. Her dad had promised a trip to London to visit grandma and granpa again. Her brothers Robbie and Sterling were also thinking about coming to visit and she couldn't be more giddy to see them.

Just by looking at Yasha, Sienna could see that he was tortured about something. She could guess that whatever life he led before this moment had arrived - where they stood now, must have been a long windy road. She tried to catch another glimpse of his eyes, and what she saw was heartache. What was it that made Yasha feel so streched. She wondered if there was anything she could do to mend his soul. Sienna had no idea the obstacles he had faced, or what he been through but something was pulsing through her. There was something about his presence that captured her heart and spark her imagination and awakened her eyes to life again.
There was something about looking into his eyes that made her feel guilty, like she had seen too much. She felt as if she had read his soul too far, without his permission she had invaded the most intimate part of his being. Sienna looked away, her hair falling over shoulder, she reverted back to timidly playing wit the strands.
When he answered her question about vampires, she glanced up and saw the pained look on his face. Sienna knew that vampires were not everyone's favorite creatures but the look he gave was more complex. There was something in that expression that made her think that his feelings of vampires ran deeper than just hate, and yet there was something else about it she couldn't begin to comprehend.
Sienna felt confused when he told her to avoid going after vampires. She could tell that perhaps he just feared for her safety, that he didn't want her to get hurt. Sienna knew she looked tiny now, sheepish and frail but beneath the brown, sun kissed human exterior he saw, there was a giant red wolf. She knew that if she put her mind to it, that wolf could wield a power so strong, so forceful that she could not even imagine. Sienna wasn't in full control yet, but knew one day she could have the strength to guide and funnel her will and nothing but her own fear and anxiety would stop her from her true purpose. Killing things, isn't something she'd ever picture herself pursuing but she had been give a gift. A gift to kill what nothing else could, to protect those who did not have the ability to defeat a vampire as she could. Sienna was not the type of girl to let a gift go to waste, to be give a path to end up following another. "I don't want to go after vampires Yasha... but its who I am now. I can't choose my dna, the fiber that makes my core. It has to be that way. I know I don't lool like much now" she took a tiny step forward again, a tiny smile crossing her face "but I was made for that purpose". She grabbed his hand and said "don't you trust me?"
Her face went pale and she let go of his hand. She couldn't understand what had gotten into her. Now her body was pumping with her hot blood, rushing it now to her face and hands from nervousness. Never had she been so bold, never had she initiated touching a guy's hand. The only thing that she could think of to make her act so out of character was 1. hormones raging around in her teenage body, 2. werewolf dna rearranging her very being and 3 she was either allergic to his pheramones (making her crazy) or completely addicted and utterly high off of them (keeping her from thinking straight).
He talked about his age and she couldn't contain the loud gasp she made. She couldn't help but be shocked and bewildered. How could he be fifty. It seemed impossible. Sienna was pretty sure Uncle Dusty wasn't even 50 yet or he was just barely that much.
Sienna studied Yasha's frame. Her mind full of curiosity what he'd look like if he had physically aged to fifty something. There something Dorian Grey-eqse to this man that made her thoughts twitter with intrigue. When he looked up at the sky, obvioulsy avoiding his gaze she delicately reached her tiny hand to his face, her other softly resting on his shoulder. She gently tried to ease his face down to look at her, momentarily standing on her her tippytoes to do so. Sienna normally shrunk under a person's gaze, but this was the first time he had looked away - or so it seemed. There was something else she wanted to ask him, but she wanted to see his eyes. "How old you feel Yasha... Do you really feel that old? Or are you like Peter pan in your neverland, never able to get past the age you enter this new world in?"
