~ information about the gang:
Matthew Smith always wanted to be a police officer, from the time he was a small child; he fantasized about being the hero and chasing the bad guys around the city. However, in 1981, Matthew did not pass the psychological exam to be granted permission to work for any force in the state of New Jersey. It was the most discouraging moment in his life. It started with a Halloween party when Matthew tackled a kid that was running down the street with a woman’s purse. He returned it to her and the kid he tackled bestowed his nickname upon him. It was this moment that Monster realized that he could do good and not be a police officer. He returned to the party jubilant. He recruited his then second in command, Felix Marteniz—who became Dirt-Digger as he knew everything about anything he wanted to with just a little hacking; Felix thought he was crazy but eventually was worn down to be recruited. At first, the gang, named Monster’s Gang at first, was made up of very few members; Monster, of course, Dirt-Digger, and then Techno, Mr. Fire Dagger (the comedian of the group obviously), and RePhil. The group was originally a small pack and Felix stepped down from second in command for Phil to step up and take the role beside his best friend.
The gang was off to a good start back then and for three years helped lower the crime rate in Camden. People called them ‘Angelic Monsters with good hearts but bad minds’. These sayings only fueled Monster and caused the crime rate to sore in order to challenge this ruling of the gang. They were always in business, but the vampires tended to stick away from the boys and their wolf forms were hidden deep within themselves. It wasn’t until a group of vampires attacked in 1984 that they really got to work as a pack and afterwards, Monster has tried to avoid being in a ‘pack’ and confirming that it is indeed a gang because he will allow humans in. It was the death of Phillip Riverson that made Monster change his tune and stay strictly to hand to hand combat. This didn’t help him when he was later caught by Phil’s son, Jay.
The gang continued their vigilante activities up until Shotgun, RePhil’s son, got arrested for the gun fight they engaged in with a team of thugs. Unfortunately when law-enforcements did show up, it was Jay who got in trouble. The boy was sixteen at the time and the law smacked down hard on him. Monster disbanded for the longest time keeping the friends he held dear around collecting money until it was stolen by one of the thugs from the gun fight. Jay had already given up on the fact that they would get him out on bail. It wasn’t until after Jay returned from his probationary program that he insisted that Gang Monstre get picked back up. Monster argued but the boy was more persuasive and got the others on board with him. Monster returned to leadership just a few months ago, but told Jay they could not stay in Camden. He moved him to the most remote place he could—La Push. Jay hates it, the others are okay with it, and Monster is glad to get reacquainted with his roots.
Former Gang leader Monster died in La Push, leaving the gang to his god son. It is unknown how Jay will act like as a leader. They are now in Cleveland.
THIS GANG IS OPENNED TO SHIFTERS AND HUMANS; THOUGH PREFERABLY SHIFTERS! They are VIGILANTES. They’re like the cops only they act faster and aren’t behind a badge, which means no limits. They steal back stolen property t return it. They beat up drug dealers; they leave what’s left to the police. The gang isn’t against murder so much as long as the person doesn’t a. get caught, or b. drag the gang down with them.
