The dripping noise of rain hitting the windows of Ai's car was annoying, the sounds were constant - and quite loud when your head was pressed against the window - and they tended to break Ai from his reverie. Ai liked being within his thoughts, they were quiet and they made sense to him, the outside world could be filled with so much non-sense that Ai cursed the fact he couldn't sleep, sure he had been a vampire for over fifty years but that didn't stop his distaste for the lack of complete silence of dreams, he could be very stubborn when the situation fit.
Ai often gave off the impression of sleep though, even now as he leaned back in the taxi, his head propped up on his hand and tilted against the cold window where the annoying pitter patting of rain could be heard - his eyes were clamped shut and his breathing was keep even, he looked very much like a sleeping human, but he couldn't sleep, it was impossible for vampires to do so, but when he was lost in his thoughts like this, he very well could be.
As the taxi slowed to a stop, Ai's eyes opened cautiously, he always needed to be sure he had arrived at the proper place, ever since he had ended up miles away from his destination in a storm. Though, as his eyes scanned the outside, he was proven to be at the right place. Slipping out of taxi, paying silently and whispering a nonexistent 'thank you', Ai moved out of the taxi and went under the cover of tarp outside a building.
Ai had a dislike for rain, reasons were unknown though, it had been something once forgotten in the past, Ai preferred not to even leave his home when it was raining, but as fate would have it, that wouldn't be the case. Pulling out his umbrella, Ai opened it and moved down the street, sure, he could use his vampiric speed to dodge said rain, but he disliked using his abilities for a simple cause such as that.
Keeping to the inside of the sidewalk, Ai wondered why he left his home in the first place, there was no real concrete reason, more of a wanting feeling to go somewhere, the where being here but the exact location forgotten only moments ago while he had slipped off into mental tangents. Ai tended to never forget locations of items he owned, or even their exact positioning, but that left himself to more forgetful in other things. Such as right now.
Now as he wandered the streets in the rain, Ai cursed those small things that had slipped his mind, because now he was lost in the rain.

Lauren walked into the Amsel house. No one was there at the moment and she was a little antsy to find someone in her coven so she wouldn't feel so alone. Lauren hated being alone and she figured it was because when she was alone her memories came back to her from her past. Most vampires didn't remember much about their human lives, but Lauren did. It was because of her gift, if one would call it a gift, of seeing past and future deaths that made it possible to learn about her past. After her aunt killed her and Baston turned her she learned of her ability. Lauren saw the death of Audrey and Bastions after she was turned just 6 days. In between the agony of blood lust she saw Audrey and Bastion leaving that night and a group of 4 Vamps that were pissed at them ambushing them and killing them. Lauren couldn't possibly bare the thought of someone that cared for her in her time of need losing their life when hopefully it could be prevented. She saw where the group of Vampires would be hiding and she instantly went to Audrey and told her about what she saw. Audrey could tell she was telling the truth, Lauren would later find out that was her ability, and in the end Bass And Audrey killed their would be killers. From that day forward Lauren was part of their coven. Lauren couldn't help but think that they just kept her around because of her ability but honestly she was just glad to be needed. Through the years she had foreseen and aided in the prevention of the death of everyone in the coven. Shortly after Lauren completed the change and regained some control of her bloodlust she found out that she could see past deaths as well. The Twins And a few of the other coven members went to a local bar for a 'night on the town' and as soon as Lauren sat at the bar she saw a death that had occurred the week before. She remembered reading about it in the newspaper and seeing the picture of the victim. Ever since then Lauren was doubly useful. Lauren looked around the house and breathed in and listened. No signs of life. She looked around the house and there was nothing that she could see that needed to be done off hand so she sat at the couch and pulled out her iphone. She went to her favorite app which was this app where you could find various ways to kill people. She was really good at it and now she was trying to beat her high score. She sighed and turned the volume up on her phone in hopes of drowning out the silence in the house, while she waited on signs of life in the real world. Words: 503 Notes: This is short for me but hopefully it will do! This is Lileah!

Post by GIANNA MARISSA FALINI on May 14, 2011 23:46:01 GMT -5
Her eyes clenched closed as the flesh beneath the young girls hand soothed her in a way that she knew so very well. The calm that took over her when she could feel the lazy sense of memories always made her feel drunk. Not for long of course, but the feeling was there. It was like watching your out of body experience, only it wasn't your body. She saw the young girl running through her house, running as fast as those little legs could carry her. There were tears flowing quickly down her face, leaving streaks. Her sniffles were quiet, whispered even. Gianna had seen so many memories over the centuries, ones that almost never belonged to her. They always gave her different feelings, other than the initial feeling that it gave her before she witnessed anything. This memory made her heart shatter in her chest because of the way that she could relate. She had once been a scared little girl, one that had run from something many times. She had been the scared little girl that had so much fear and confusion in her heart. She was no longer that girl, she hadn't been in almost five centuries. She had Basilio to thank for that. She just knew, by all her stars, that this little girl was just as confused as she had been. The darkness had not consumed the little girl in the way that it had Gianna. It was only a matter of time though, it only took so much before a young thing snapped.
She saw the little girl gasp as a man appeared at the end of the hallway. The girl immediately stopped and slowly, almost timidly, backed away. The man held a belt and a rope in his hands, his face contorted by the sneer on his face. The little girl's heart rate sped up until she ran further down the hall, away from the large man. She ran into a room and as the door slammed Gianna heard a scream seconds later followed by a silent sob. Her eyes thrust open and she released the deep breath that she had unknowingly been holding in. She looked down at the girl with sad, understanding eyes and kissed the young girl on the cheek. "You will never know how very strong you are, my dear." She whispered out as the first tears she had released in decades swept down her cheeks. She could not tell the girl how much she wished that she could take away her pain. Or about how much the girl would be able to feel once she was away from that large man. As much as she longed to drain the girl to save her from suffering, she knew that she couldn't. Not only was she such a small girl, but she was entirely innocent for the most part. It was shocking to some that someone in her position would be deemed innocent, but Gianna could see it. She still believed in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. Gianna could bet that the young girl believed in the one that they called Jesus of Nazareth.
She looked at the little girl more closely and saw herself once again. It was the reason she chose to believe for her reluctance to sink her fangs into the young girls flesh. It would have been like staking herself in the heart. She could try to help the girl, take her from the horrible man. But, living with Gianna would have been far worse than any child rapist or abuser. She was a vampire, she drank blood like that which flowed constantly through the little girls body. Her eyes glowed red as she looked at the girl once more, weary from being in the girls prescience. Her blood lust had gotten much worse in the most recent century. She growled at the little girl and her eyes flashed red, painfully crimson in their hue. "Get the hell out of here, kid. You shouldn't be in the park alone this time of night. Leave!" She growled the last part before she roughly shoved the girl away as tears built up in those eyes of such a small, innocent creature. Gianna held back the apology and regret she felt. She couldn't let her emotions have her feeding from the young girl. She was a wild vampire, feeding off human blood, but this was so much different than her normal feeding. She spared one last glance at the darling before turning quickly and heading off on her way. She would tell Basilio when she returned to him, for she knew that she could do nothing about it.

♥ ALEXANDER J. HARPER ♥ GUADIANO WOLF PACK
Alexander dove deeper into the woods, paws hitting the dry earth with enough force to leave prints. Plants and weeds were crushed beneath the mighty wolf with each bound, ears perked, to keep track of the deer. Hooves and paws had a remarkably different sound when they made contact with dry dirt, and it was easy enough to follow the hooves, while tuning out Alex's own paws. His breath came in short gasps of air, his tongue hanging out slightly between his open jaws. His light brown fur almost blended in with the trees that surrounded him, fitting for a hunter to not be seen when hunting ones prey.
The Deer came into sight once more, as they each raced through a small opening. Alex, in this form, was much faster then the Deer. He didn't really want it to eat, beings that he would much rather just go cook a burger up, no, he was in it more for the thrill of the chase. People did strange things when they were bored. But honestly, there was nothing else to do. After a few hours of boredom as a human, Alexander had took to the forest, shaping his body into that of the wolf that he was now.
His new form had many things to do, and he had done just about all of them. It had taken up a good portion of his time, and had distracted him from the boredom that may come again tomorrow, but this was the first actually fun thing he had done all day. He could practically feel the smile on his wolf like snout as he closed in on the animal. The Deer was mighty and strong, the ruler of Any forest in Alex's mind. He would put up a fight, Alexander knowing the moves to the lethal dance well enough to dodge the first throw of the head. Antlers plummeted over his head as she dodged, lowering himself for a moment before thrusting upward once more.
He jumped from the ground, using all four legs to his advantage, and taking the Deer down with him as he went. Claws scraped against the animals side, and a mouth found its way to the Deers neck. Then the game was over. It was a graceful battle to say the least, and Alexander had actually gotten stabbed by one of the antlers in the process. Though it would surely heal quickly, it was still painful in the present. He let out a small whine, standing, and as he did, morphing back into his human form at will. A hand quickly found the wound, holding pressure against it to keep blood from pouring out more so then it already was.
Brown fur was still in Alex's mouth, and he spat it onto the woods floor hastily. He noticed the fact that he was naked, but only because the breeze reminded him. Luckily, he had ventured deep enough to be out of sight from any human or shifter alike. Sure, he was comfortable with wearing his 'Birthday Suit', but that didn't mean he wanted people seeing him like this. Mainly because of the wound. He walked over to one of the many large trees of the forest, and leaned against it, taking in a deep breath. The pain was fading, as the wound slowly began to heal.
The blood loss was more of what worried the young man, wanting to be able to get back to the pack without passing out. He moved his hand away from the hole in his side, sniffing the air and smelling that of crimson blood. Not only his, but of the, now dead, Deer that he had successfully slain. He didn't want the food now, and would leave it for another animal that needed it. Right now, he watched as the pain disappeared completely, and his wound was erased from his body. The blood, however, was still there. And he would surely have to find a way of getting past his other pack members without them noticing.
He didn't feel like getting nagged on today. Even if he could handle himself in the pack, it was just nice to be alone every once in awhile. Surely his wolf instincts would kick in after awhile, and he would need the safety of the pack to comfort him. It was just something that happened to Alexander regularly. He wasn't sure about the other wolves in his family, and he didn't really care. Pushing light brown hair, a color that matched his wolves fur, away from his eyes, Alex turned to the north, mapping out a way back home. Looks like his adventure was over, for today.

Hey Alexander,
I thought I'd warn you that there are currently no other wolves from that pack.
but it is accepted.
