F R E E S I T E C A N O N S Ok so with the celebration of our one year birthday, TD HAS GONE CRAZY! Thats right folks. We have been so excited with our new site skin, over 100 new site canons and all the new members that have been stopping by we decided that its time to give back to the members of TD. For members old and new, we are offering FREE SITE CANONS to everyone. This offer is limited to two (2) per member (not per character). There is a small catch however.
As the saying goes, these days nothing is actually free. It just means you don't have to do as much work to get caught up in the site canon hype. All you need to do is first head on over to the canon characters section and read the bios. Find one you like and make an account for that character, first middle last name all in caps please. Then all you have to do is come back to this thread and post a post in character, the character you are applying for. The thread must be over 400 words and don't worry we will be checking for word count. As a canon member you have to show commitment and this is what we want to see in your post length.
After that the admin will approve it and then once they have been moved to the member group you are ready to start playing. Team up with some of your RP buddies and organise to play friends, lovers, or imprints so that you instantly have plots and rp buddies. Its a great opportunity so dont pass it up.
This offer will run for one month. That means it will end May 24th. Take your time to read through the canon bios and see which ones will suit you. Remember, each member is only allowed two (2) FREE CANONS so choose wisely. Invite some of your non TD rp buddies along and help spread the joy of this amazing site. Thanks guys and enjoy the fun that are the TD site canons.

Paulo was silent moving through the dark essentially a ghost in the Amazon Rainforest. In his heart he was a ghost as well and had been dead for sometime. The loss of his wife and his children would never leave him. Veronica had been his highschool sweetheart. The girl who he'd thought he would never have. She had silken black hair and huge brown black eyes. Everybody wanted her, she'd had so much potential but in the end she chose the drop out. Paulo had dropped out because of the shift though nobody else but Jaci had known that. He couldnt very well say i shift into a huge black jaguar so i cant goto school any longer.
In those days when someone shifted it became their life. The internal workings of the Perimbo tribe designated those with the gift to fully devote themselves to it. School simply wasnt an option. Yet Veronica had seen past his exterior. He seemed unambitious, dangerous and crazy to the outsiders. Yet she saw the intelligence in his eyes. Slowly the two fell in love unable to keep away from eachother but then she always knew something was different. Paulo didnt tell her for fear of her leaving until they married.
She fully accepted him for what he was. There was something beautiful she saw in it. Just as Paulo saw something so beautiful in her but now she was gone. It was all the doing of the wench he dated before her. He blamed also the cristobal because he never would have shifted if not for its presence. He would have been home when that bitch attacked instead of on patrol. Tonight he hunted the cristobal one had wandered into Perimbo territory. He heard the prattle of younger jaguars in the night. They were excited.
Paulo was never excited about the kill, he felt as Tawa and U'Yara he wasnt meant for this. He felt for the girls but rarely showed his compassion. They needed to deal with it as he had. A rustle in the trees above and Paulo's head shot up seeing the cristobal jumping about like a monkey. He shot up wrapping his body around it and falling to the floor. It hissed and kicked as Paulo held it in place. A training exercise for the young. He felt a gang of the youngsters come around and heard Jaci's voice in his mind cold and dark. 'Dismember it.' So as Paulo held it the others tore it to pieces it shreiked and Paulo felt it convulsing wildly.
They piled the pieces and Paulo threw a match on it. He stood by the pile of smoke as the others vanished. Smoke never brought back kind memories. Paulo shifted back into his cat and ran his paw through the fire it burned but it would heal. He turned back into the night carrying his heart with him...where his family would always be.

Post by BASILIO FALINI on Apr 24, 2011 15:48:13 GMT -5
Basilio Falini crouched on the tree branch, studying the three men curiously. His red eyes watched them hungrily as they laid a fallen comrade of theirs down gently. He tilted his head. He had watched the fallen warrior fight; he had never seen someone fight like that before. He had fought so full of passion and vengeance. Once again, his mysterious power had brought him to a dying human, someone he could save. But, Basilio was hungry. He tilted his head and sighed. He supposed he could kill the three other warriors. They had fought like cowards. Basilio jumped down and landed without making a sound. Then, he flitted to one man and swiftly ended his life, then proceeded doing the same to the other two. He fed, because he knew that if he did not feed properly he would not be able to save the brave man dying not ten feet away. Basilio stood slowly; blood ran down his lips and dripped from his chin. He wiped it off, but to no effect, the blood of the fallen warrior’s comrades just smeared and got on his pale white hands. Basilio flitted and bent over the fallen warrior. The warrior looked up at him, his face was pale and bloody with sweat and his breathing was shallow. Basilio looked him over. The warrior spoke almost inaudibly, but Basilio’s acute hearing picked up on his throaty murmur. He had whispered, “Are you death?” Basilio smiled. “No. I am your savior. Would you like to live? Live forever?” The warrior ignored Basilio’s question and asked in the same undertone, “My men?” Basilio sighed. This man was loyal, at the very least. “They are dead. I killed them.” The warrior closed his eyes and then opened them. “Bastard.” Basilio could hear the man’s heart beat slow and began to falter. “You have not the time to spurn me. My power has brought me to you for a reason.” Basilio leaned closer; he could not handle watching this brave young man be in pain any longer. Basilio gently picked up the man’s left wrist and brought it to his lips. He bit into the man’s flesh and the man gasped weakly. He pried himself away from the young man and wiped blood from his lips. He picked up the young warrior. The venom was already healing and altering the warrior, who was now gasping and writhing. Basilio took off into the night, back to his Gianna and his Coven.
Basilio opened his bright red eyes; he was leaning against a tree, stalking a few hunters. He had been remembering the day he saved one of his children. He sighed; though this was unnecessary. He hadn’t had the need to breath in over 5000 years. It was just comfortable. He smiled at the thought of his Gianna. He loved her more than anything, though he couldn’t help a few affairs every century or so. He wasn’t a god. Basilio’s thoughts then moved on to his Coven. He cared deeply for each and every one of them. Well, in his own way at least. Gianna had become his lover, his other half. Mona has been one of his most loyal children, Victoria . . . well she was bloodthirsty, but he was her maker and would not give up on her. She was a challenge and that was something he appreciated. Vitani, oh she was one of Basilio’s closest friends. She had been among the first to follow Basilio. He would trust her with his life. Lisa had become his Muse. Vincent, or Vin, was something else. Basilio figured he would rather Vin just stay in his feminine form if it was not for his Gianna. And if Bruno wasn’t so valuable, Basilio would have handed down retribution for stealing. Last but not least there was Tony who Basilio believe was the only one who did not want this life. Basilio wondered if his gift had finally misled him, but Tony does help with external affairs with great skill.
Basilio loved his immortal life. He remembered the day he was endowed with it. He had never told anyone before. Not even his Gianna or Vitani. He had been very young, 15. He lived in Greece and was sold into slavery. The cruel man who bought him beat him and sexually abused him, Basilio would be lucky just to get some bread crumbs to eat. Finally, at the age of 17, he ran away. He had left in the dead of the night, and couldn’t help but looking back. There were two other children there, both around 13 and 14. He knew they were brother and sister, and he considered them his closest family. He went back and helped them escape also, they eventually parted ways. He stayed in hiding and only started going out in the city to steal clothes and food. He lived like that for three years, he was always deeply afraid to be found by the cruel slaver. There weren’t many places to hide because they lived on the island of Crete. But there were a few undiscovered caves. The time was the dead of winter during Basilio’s 26th year. He had grown sick and was dying a slow and painful death. A creature crouched above him with iridescent crimson eyes stood over him with a smile of an angel. Back then, Basilio had spoken in ancient Greek, and in that language he said, “Are you a God?” The creature replied in the same language. “Yes.” And then the creature was upon him, and three days later after the burning pain, Basilio opened his eyes to his new life. The first person he hunted down and killed was his slaver. Basilio shook his head. He needed to stop reminiscing and find something to eat. But first he would he would go back to the mansion his coven stayed in and find his Gianna. He never would have to hunt alone. Despite his age and the fact that his maker has long since perished, he would always have his Coven and his power as a Savior to guide him and for him to lead.

She stared out at the moon, her hand extended out as she felt its power. Her voice wanting to sing out at the sky. She loved this cold pleasant weather. But on top of all, she loved her room. Bellow she wanted to actually have some sort of peace as well. Then again, she was troubled a little. Sliding a hand in her water glass she saw the water freeze a smile curling her lips as she threw it to the wall and sat down. She was bored, and yet at the same time she knew the whole world was at her feet. Ever since the fall of the Volturi , the way that they were killed and extinguished like bugs.
She had taken pleasure in it, but then again she was just another one to fall for power. No she wanted now something a little more, but she would stay at the same time as a good servant. Was it her turn tonight to keep watch, or was it that she was actually a little mischievous. After all, she liked a good trick or two. No matter either way she was tonight going to have some fun either way. Maybe even sing, she loved to sing it was her most greatest gift that her mother could have given her. Then again maybe she was to over proud of her singing.
Standing, she started to walk towards her door as she opened it and started to climb down the stairs. Her hair flying in the wind as she hated to walk down like a lady, a smile curling her lips as she started to walk out towards the door her coven leaders she hoped were away as she did not want to be caught sneaking out. She hoped also that they would not mind that she would bring some boys even if they were young. She loved boys especially some in their teens she saw them as little angels who came down from heaven and greeted her.
Or were made especially for her, at least that was what she thought and yet at the same time if one of her elders asked her to hand it over she would willingly no questions asked and no buts or complaints. She after all owed her life in her hands, in the wreckage of Venice she was the one who survived and yet at the same time she was always curious what had made her feel special, why had she joined this coven.
Why had she been spared the atrocity of the treasonous vampires who stood beside the Volturi. This was a question of course she could not yet ask, not with her new status in a clan in which she still had to leartn so much. She also knew it was better not to ask questions, questions only got you in trouble. After all she hated trouble, she found it to be a snake who was ready to attack at any second and also that it would kill you in an instant without question.
Which was why she kept silent.. Keeping her voice to herself.
This is Chris btw ! >3 Original Cannon for Amsel.

The outback at was forboding at night. The animals were always out and about around Luca the difference was they werent afraid of him as other animals were of shifters. The dingo shifters were relatively young arrival on the landscape. The snakes had no need to fear them afterall venom could lay a guy down for a few weeks. The birds of the sky patrolled the night for food and on this landscape weaker men would crumble but for Luca it was home. He felt his legs trotting carefully underneath him as he thought about Lilah his imprint. He wondered what she was doing and his heart longed to be near her.
Yet he was spurred on by the fact that he was keeping the area she called home safe. He was happy to be alone in his head tonight so that these thoughts could be free flowing. He had to guard thoughts of Lilah around the pack. It felt like betrayl to not share her with them but how could they possably understand. He was in love head over heels without question with a thirteen year old girl. Their ruthless strong perfect leader was about as good as a pedophile. Yet it wasnt his fault...
He tried to keep appearences up especially around the guys. He'd comment on a girl here or there yet there was never actually anything in it. He loved Lilah and he had eyes only for her. It made him sick to think about it out of context though. He could see her dad who was only ten or so years older then himself getting the police after him. Would he explain it was some funky dingo bonding that he couldnt help? No, he'd end up in the slammer with a worse reputation then he already had going for him.
The sun began to rise on the horizon and Luca stopped his ears twitched as they listened to the sounds around him. He heard the thoughts of a friend far off and he went to see how they were getting along. He instantly distracted himself from thoughts of Lilah by thinking strategically. He figured he'd have a dingo going in each direction today. He'd head to the city himself even after a night patrol he had to be sure all was safe. He would shift human and walk near the highschool see if he could bring Lilah something then get on with looking about for leeches. Crap. He always found his mind going back to her. So he went along thinking of the dingo waiting over the hill. They were too distracted to listen to his mind luckily.

Post by RAUL KEYLAN CORTEQ on Apr 24, 2011 20:52:08 GMT -5
Raul Keylan Corteq ran through the dense forest hollering, causing a major uproar in the wild life. He was in a hyper mood and didn’t have anything better to do. He jumped into the air and phased on the fly, and landed in the cool water of the lake. He swam on all fours panting, his glossy sleek fur resistant against the water, making him swim better and faster. He got out of the water and shook his fur in a way that looked natural on him but would make anyone else look like a dog. He licked his lips and looked around, wandering where Jaci was. He flicked his tail and his ears went down. She was so beautiful and strong, but she treated him like a pup. He sighed and started running, gaining speed and enjoying the scenery flying by. He figured he might as well take a quick circuit around their territory it would only take about two hours with his speed. He wondered what Jaci was doing right now. Another lone thought traveled through him mind, he wondered if she could possibly thinking of him. He dismissed the thought quickly, of course she wasn’t. As a matter of fact, he didn’t think she ever thought about guys. He was thinking about her too much and not watching his footing. His paw caught in a fallen tree and then he was flying. He roared as he landed uncomfortably on his back. He quickly righted himself and growled irritably.
He stood back up and checked his left leg to make sure his clothes were still tied to it. Once he made sure it was tight he started running again, thirty minutes must have went buy. He pushed harder and turned, jumping over obstacles that came his way. He wondered if he could go out tonight and get himself a date. It sounded like a good idea. He would rather be with Jaci though. He remembered the day she nearly stripped him a new hide. It had been innocent enough, he had seen her in a clearing, looking as gorgeous as ever and well it was mating season. He had been a nomad back then, he had shifted for the first time when he was 17, and he remembered it clearly. He had mauled his own father. He huffed and slowed down to a stop. He had made half the circuit, he could have continued on but he didn’t feel like running anymore. He wanted to go see what Jaci was doing. Maybe for once she’d accept a date with him. He flicked his tail and eagerly headed to her house that was not far from the woods.

Post by HAYDEN JOHN EVANS on Apr 25, 2011 11:53:53 GMT -5
As Hayden walked though the out back his flip flops where the only things that made a sound. Now usually Hayden liked to wonder the outback as a Dingo but today he found a picture of him and his sister ruby when they where little. And he didn't want to torture any pack members with his feelings as just thinking about her made him want to rip any vampire he came across apart with the exception of his sister. They had taken her way from him before she could even be a part of the pack. He had so looked forward to showing her the ways of the shifter when she finally found the dingo inside of her. But them, they took her away from him and made her one of them. Though he knew she wasn't completely like them as she had given him information from within the vampire governments. Though now they had cut her off from him completely so he couldn't even see her face anymore.
This is why finding this picture of her so happy made his heart ache. It was as if he didn't have a little sister anymore at times. He could see her, couldn't talk to her or communicate with her in any way. Not even a letter or a text. It was for this reason that he can sympathise with some vampires. Those who didn't want to be what they had become as you didn't always get to chose if you wanted to be a vampire or not. Some took it and other just thought themselves monsters. He had heard though his sister that some vampires didn't prey on human but rather animals instead. That he found rather commendable as if they was trying to make themselves into different people. But he still didn't like the idea they had to kill other living things to live. He knew they needed the bold in order to survive. In a away there blood lust was like there own animal inside them he guess and was something they had to control.
Or that what he was able to see it as from talking with his sister Ruby who actually knew what it felt like. But unlike him she could just stop like her could. Hayden had first shifter when he was fifteen so at first he had quite a young appearance for a shifter, though after he could see his sister anymore he stopped shifting for at least several years and he began to age again as if he was a normal human. Only when he decided to use his gift to help fight against the leeches once more with or without word from his sister. As if they was able to stop the vampires maybe he would be able to see her again. Just to talk to her would make him happy. Just a sign to know that she was alright and not turning into one of them. To hear her voice would be able to spure him on not to stop until he either got her free from these monsters or he died trying.

Post by VITANI ELIZABETH MORETTI on Apr 25, 2011 14:52:23 GMT -5
Vitani sat in the window ledge looking as the world passed by below her. She could see the follower blooming below her a spring was in the air. How much Vitani would love to wonder down into the parks of one of the near by towns and just look at the flowers in all there beauty. But for the flowers to come out the sun had to be present and if the sun was out she could not venture into public areas. The down side of being a vampire. She could not enjoy the sun in public places. People would now she was different from the glitter of her thousand diamond skin. Vitani loved how her skin shimmered like the finest of jewels in the sun light, but it disallowed her from some joys that she would like to take pleasure in as humans must not know about vampires existence. And there was a good reason too as the poor fragile things had already enough terrors to worry about without adding the extra factor vampires to the list.
She doubted that many would accept them even those like herself who feed on animal blood. They would find something else rather than the killing of humans to hold against them like the fact they could easily over throw humans with there strength and so on and so forth. Which is why it was a law of vampires to keep themselves from humans knowledge. They where to remain the objects of myths and legends so only those who became that of legend would know about them. She believed even this new power of vampires who had taken over the Volturi where still keeping the existence of vampire unknown to humans as Vitani didn't wont to think of what would happen if word got out and the whole world knew of her species. Then they would either have to stand and face the humans with whatever they came at them with or go even further into hiding until it all blew over.
And Vitani for one didn't have to deny herself anymore pleasures than she already had to, including enjoying the glorious sunshine. Know she could go to non inhabited area's and bask in it's rays where nobody would see her but she liked to share her happiness so it just wasn't the same for her. Vitani cared for the humans too much for her to do anything that might disturb the peace between vampires and humans. Because as soon humans found out about vampire there would be no doubt some sort of war brake out as there was bound to be groups who think they was the devils spawn. For some vampire's that might be an accurate description but not them all. Sighing Vitani left the window and went over to the vase on a table near by. Taking out a few of the flowers she began to plat them into her long hair. Sure Gianna would tell her off for spoil her flower arrangement but right now she didn't care she you wanted the elegance of the flowers around her.
