 This pack of panda bear shape shifters has been around for centuries. With over 13 different packs over the years, this pack has survived any attacks against them. It is through their elders writings and scripts that they have been able to move on and deal with the modern development of vampire pover population. The Xiong Mao Pack have known about their opposition, the Kuroshio for just as long as their existence. It is for this reason that Xiong Mao have quite a larger distance to travel than other shifters of their kind. Their purpose is to ensure the survival of shifters in the Asian realm as well as minimise the population of vampires. They know too well not to take on the hive of vampire population, the Kuroshio's and chose to take of the nomads and independent covens not associate with the law. The packs current elder, Jia Li Sun, has been involved with three other generations of the pack including th current pack. She feels it is important for the young ones to have a leader, guidence from someone who has experienced and is still experiencing all of this with them. he is like the mother of the pack, although she does not take any leadership role. She allows the younger members of the pack to make their own choices including the involement of decendant alphas and betas. Xiong Mao, is different to other packs, where their shifter form is derived from a particular tribe or group, the Xiong Mao Panda's originate from all over China, they are a special sign of greatness. Parents and elders of other tribes and groups in China know that when a child shifts into the form of a Panda, they must travel alone to Chengdu one of the only places left in China known to host wild Panda. Here they are safe, they live in the natural world, a house plunged deep into the forst hidden from everyone. * Sister to Ming Yue Lin, the packs beta, Lei has always felt beneath her sister. Being younger and failing at almost everything doesn’t help either. Her sister is so perfect, Lei wants to be just like her. Unfortunately, her tries go unnoticed.
* Her sister started to change at the age of sixteen and Lei being three years younger than her, knew she would have to wait at least three years until she could reach the same amazingness as her sister. However, with the longing to be just like her sister, Lei transformed into a panda bear shifter at the age of 14, just two years before the age of her sister.
*Lei was still shifting behind her fathers back and was able to keep a more youthful appearance over her younger sisters still developing body. She wanted to experience everything her older sister had experienced in the year before they were both commanded to stop shifting.
*Both girls were forced to stop shifter after Lei the younger sister had transitioned. Their father thought it too dangerous for them to both be out defeating vampires.

* Jia Li is the packs elder; she has seen many packs before the current and has been in many of them herself. The difference between her and the other elders of the pack, is that she is still an active member, still shifting into the form of a panda.
* She has seen five generations of the Xiong Mao tribe and with each pack she has grown experience in battle, conduct and composure.
* She has decided that although she has not chosen when she will stop shifting, she has decided that it is in the packs best interest that she doesnt take the beta or alpha roles. The new pack needs to learn and grow for themselves.
*For around 10 years, Jia stopped shifting and tried to live a normal life, but with a vampire boom, Jia was forced to join the new current pack and guide them, considering all of them are new shifters.

* Yan Tao was born into a rich family. They werent the most wealthiest but for China, they were well off. His family had a beautiful house with large gardens.
* The Zhang family was known to be only 1/18 decent from their shifting families tribe and had never had a shifter within their family, Yan Tao was the first. It was to their surprise when he turned at the age of 17 into one of the coverted Panda Bear shifters, that were destined to protect the Chinese people from immortal blood drinkers.
*Zhang waas frightened and scared when he discovered his destiny and infact ran away in his Panda form into the jungle to hide. He did not cope with the transition from lavish luxury to a rustic lifestyle. He travelled for many years as a panda, only shifting back to ring home and tell his parents he was safe. It wasnt until he heard voices of strangers in his head that he realised the truth behind his families stories. Within a few weeks, he had stumbled upon the jungle home of the Xion Mao tribe. He did not seek them out, and they did not seek him, but it was the voices and the need to follow his instincts that lead him to his destiny.

* Imprinted and currently dating Chao Zhao. The pair have been dating for around 2 years and are still very much in love. There is no conflict and the two work well together. However, when they are dispatched on missions they are never paired together for Yong's protectiveness over Chao would get in the way of the point of the mission.
* Yong was a part of a family of full blood shifters, however, they were not Panda shifters. Yongs family was infact decendants of the Southern Chinese tigers. The entire family were shocked when Yong transformed into a Panda and accused his mother of cheating on his father. It was later on that the prophecy of the couragous Panda was told and Yong's family was aquitted of their accusations.
*As soon as the prophecy was told, Yong said goodbye to his parents, knowing he would never fit in and started a spiritual journey for the land of the Pandas. Once again unaware of the location, Yong shifted into his Panda form and followed his mind and heart to his new home.

* Chao was another one that came from an all shifting family. Her mother and her father were both shifters. Her four older brothers were also shifters. Their family was the biggest shifting family known in China.

She was from the same tribe as Yong and spent 2 years not knowing where her friend had gone. It was only after her own Panda transformation, and finding the pack that she discovered Yong. He imprinted on her instantly but it took her a little longer before she realised she had imprtined on him too.
