THE DAWN OF A NEW ERA

The Volturi are power, the vampire world has known for centuries that the Volturi are the law. Their rules were to be obeyed, if not, death. That has all changed though. Without the slightest of knowledge to most of our kind. The AMSEL COVEN, run by Bastion and Audrey Amsel, had succeeded in their mission to overrun the Volturi and gain ultimate power over the Vampire world. With their pack of purpose built children of the moon, Amsel were able to defeat the law. Starting from the bottom up, Amsel was able to destroy the impenetrable walls of the Volturi Guard, using the element of surprise and the unknown, the twins were able to devise a way to conjure all guards together and take them on without the head of Volturi even knowing. Audrey took pride in herself to take out the wives, removing them from Volterra and taking them to her own privately built torture den, underground on the outskirts of town, away from the protection of their husbands. There she tortured, raped and eventually killed them, not before collecting their ashes and bottling them for pride of place in her display back home in Cleveland. Bastion took out the others, Caius and Marcus while Nero took on Aro. Nero’s old qualms with the ancient gave him a vicious edge and a knowing of his weaknesses, without his guard. All were destroyed, but not before Marcus made a helpless plea to join their forces. He plead that he would be an undefinable edge to their ruling, that they could succeed with knowledge and power from an ancient like him. Bastion showed no mercy and knew that a government without old blood would be better.

After the destruction, the AMSEL COVEN were free to set up their rulings, they sent out messengers, trackers around the globe to notify immortals of their victory. It was a time for celebration; it was a time to rejoice. The hybrid race had shown its supremacy above all other species. Amsel was now power. It wasn’t for a few days after, that the twins had realised exactly what they had unfolded. The Volturi were not working alone. An intricate network of covens, clans and monarchies, from all walks of life, were working and functioning under the control of the Volturi. These branches remained uncovered by the immortal public. The Volturi took all the praise for the covens efforts. Bastion was surprised at the network that had been uncovered, for the first time in forever, Bastion was lost. Audrey wanted to overthrow the entire lot, but Bastion knew the work that would be entailed if they were to take on the entire world of government vampires. It is from this that Bastion decided to invite the leaders and covens from around the world, to continue their ruling. A new smaller coven would be established within Europe, no past Volturi members included and Amsel would be the new head government. They would give praise and acknowledge the work of the others. They would make their presence known in order to instil fear with the vampires of the world. Amsel could never be over run when they had five other covens loyal to their cause. With now an army of over 60 vampires, Amsel would be unstoppable. They would rule, perhaps not as fairly as the Volturi lords, but they would rule a way in which to shape the new world, a new era, the days of living in the past, basted in tradition were gone.

One of the more exposed covens were that of the KUROSHIO CLAN, based in Japan, they were the army controlling the Asian sector of the world. Including Russia, they were one of the more powerful covens. Instilled in tradition and family heritage, Bastion knew they would be hard to work with. His assumptions had proved false however, when the Clan heard of the Volturi demise, they ran underground and hid from the world, fearing they would be next to go. Only one remained, Hanako Kuroshio, the one heir to the KUROSHIO CLAN, destined to kill her uncle for the leader position. She was currently living in America, Cleveland to be precise. Bastion had known of her and her attempts to form an Asian coven within Cleveland, although proving pointless and useless. It was then that Bastion had invited Hanako, to return to Japan, create her own coven, new and improved and help him govern the world. Hanako was instantly attracted to the idea, Cleveland was not working for her and by creating her own coven, she would not have to kill her uncle, her one true father figure, for the position of ruler. Hanako moved home and started to gather her friends, a group of relatively youthful looking vampires, more so than her own family clan and created the second generation of the KUROSHIO CLAN. They would function under the same name, her families name, she knew that if her family ever did return she would flee back to them in an instant, for now, this was her new family.

Hanako also established in her Clan, a group of five vampires, who liked to keep slaves, that would govern over the Russian sector of Asia. THE RUSSIAN PENTENIAL were a strong group of vampires, ruthless and unforgiving that would stop at nothing to ensure the protection of their kind. The only gave respect to Hanako, her clan and the Amsel Coven.

Another small coven, SANGUE REALE were also combining forces. Bastion had to know that this coven would not retreat to their founder’s ways and were loyal to him and his Clan. A whole new coven of vampires, exotic and strong governed the small area of Europe which housed a small population of vampires.

In Africa, the same coven that governed during the Volturi’s rule, the JELANI MONARCHY, continued in their rule. Bastion was happy with their commitment and devotion to the new changes and was positive that there would be no mutiny in their midsts.

Lastly, a new coven, formed for the sole reason that Bastion did not wish to give the Kuroshio any more land in wish to govern, the Bellevue Coven. Based in Australia, these vampires accumulated with the help of Bastion and Audrey. Audrey going down to Australia for a few weeks, gathering vampires and running them through a torturous regime. She tried to break down their defences and determine their loyalties. After torturing each and every one of them, killing some, Audrey was able to create a group of vampires that she felt worthy to rule the Australian realm and were known as the BELLEVUE COVEN.

With every good story, just like the original, the creator of this universe, where there are vampires, there are shifters. With the knowledge of vampire covens, animal shifters have been associated with local tribes for centuries. They grow in number when the population of vampire increases, their duty, to protect the human race and kill vampires. Within each sector of the world, Amsel was also able to uncover a series of packs, tribes and councils that were established centuries ago to enable the safety of mortals. Bastion was sure that he had no way of convincing them to join his league, so instead he documented them, with Audrey’s help, and made it known to all vampires in the governing groups that these predators existed. The shifter groups on the other hand, know about the new vampire government and are committed to stay away from them at all costs. They are not retreating, they know however, that if they harm one government they will have the others to face. The packs stick to defeating nomad vampires, others in covens that are not associated with this alliance. One day, they will take over and they will defeat the threats.

With the growing strength of Amsel, the PERIMBO TRIBE of South America grew in size too. With the form of a panther, these predators are fast and stealth. They can outrun a vampire and take them down in an instant. They are hunters of the night, camouflaging in their dark furs.

Within Europe, the century old GUARDIANO PACK of European Wolf watched over the Volturi, relished in the victory of their defeat and cringed at the site of a new forming alliance.

Away from the island of Japan, the legendary tribe of Chinese Panda were reforming. A newer, younger tribe, the XIONG MAO Tribe are a group of Panda’s that are not established through group or family belonging, but more based on myth and fortune. It is said throughout Asian folklore that when a shifter takes the form of a Giant Panda, it is their destiny to protect their nation, at all costs. It is the XIONG MAO tribe that take refuge in a forest away from civilisation, patrolling the Asian borders and protecting it.

In Africa, the SIMBA PRIDE, another pack that had been established for years, continued their reign within. The pack of more primal shifters, the SIMBA PRIDE are known for their hunting abilities.

Finally, within Australia, a pack of native dingo shifters combine in center of the country. All members of this tribe in some way belong to the traditional ancestors of Australia, the Aboriginals. Some sharing more native blood than others, this WARRIGAL PACK is loyal and devoted to the cause of bringing down the vampire race that has suddenly blossomed with the development of the new BELLEVUE COVEN.

With the world now divided but working towards a united goal, shifters vs. vampire, who will win? More importantly, who will you choose? THE DISORIENTATED will be, in the next week, releasing over 100 new canon positions. A wide range of nationalities, personalities and cultures, the new governments will be a very interesting plot to be involved in. We are looking primarily for group leaders, people that are willing to take on the leader position and strive to help achieve a full coven of players. Of course, group leaders are not important but it would be great if members could take on these roles. Please remember that Coven Leaders and Pack Alphas are more than just a character, it’s a responsibility to run an entire group of characters that are important to the sites plotline.

These covens and packs won’t be going anywhere, like Twilight and their canons; THE DISORIENTATED now have their own series of important characters. They are concrete and will never change, unless that is, if you take them one and develop them yourself.
We have created these canons with as much flexibility as possible. We wanted to provide you with a basis of personality, history and such so that you had something to work from. It is up to you in your application to develop that basic history and make it your own. Applications will be judged more seriously than other original character applications and will also be approved by the creator of that group. Delta will be assessing Asia and Australia, RJ will be assessing the Africans and Scooter will be assessing the Americans, the Europeans and the Russians. When you are writing the applications please keep in mind the descriptions we have provided and develop from there. We don’t want you to completely change all the hard work we have done.

Face claims are not negotiable, that is, unless you have someone you really want to use, looks similar to the current FC and the creator actually agrees on. If you want to change the FC, please make a note of the current FC and your intended FC on the application and leave it for creator approval (as mentioned above).

From now, I will be releasing coven profiles, pictures and bios at different times throughout the week. Please keep an eye out as they won’t be all released at the same time. If you find someone you like, it will be first in best dressed. This is really exciting for me and I can’t wait to see this plot in play. It has taken us a lot of time and effort to create so please do not dismiss our creations.
