~ about me :
Jocelyn ever since day one had been considered pretty much a problem child she wasn't accepted by the vampire world or the human world and often found herself alone and out of the loop on everything. Though her father always said she had him it wasn't the same and she found herself becoming angrier at the world that had rejected her so freely even though she had so much to offer. She can be very kind hearted but the second she finds something she wants she becomes something beyond what anyone could ever imagine. She becomes a sort of animal inside that just tells her everything she needs to know like her vampire side never fully toned down so she is still technically a new born in her own way. Her short temper doesn't help either though her father sees her as this sweet little angel she hides her own secrets and it often very cold hearted and brutal especially when she hunts. A certain fire burns in her that is a shock even to herself and the more time passes the more fed up she gets with her father’s smothering and the more she just wants to get up and run as far as she can but because her father was all she ever knew she finds herself trapped in a corner unable to free herself to go after something she'd always longed for. Her own independence.

~ history :
On February 14 her father’s birthday, not only did he receive a blessing but also a curse that would always haunt him in the form of his daughter. Her father James Thompson a vampire at the time had met her mother Carmen when he'd left his home in London to get away from the harsh memories. Well little did he know was the Romania held its own surprises and not long after he'd met a young woman by the name of Carmen Harla. Strikingly beautiful and such a strong heart James found himself falling for the girl in a matter of weeks but he didn't know the consequences that would follow his intense love for the girl. Before he had planned on getting married to her Carla had announced that she was pregnant and James was ecstatic to know that he would have his own child from a woman he cared for so deeply. As the months passed though her condition worsened and James began to worry that something was going on with his lover and possibly his baby. He was at a loss of what to do and the night of her lovers birthday Carmen gave birth to a little girl named Jocelyn Alissa Thompson and that was the last thing she managed to let pass her lips before she died the baby wrapped in James' arms. He was terrified of what he'd created a monster far beyond even what he was and at first he was disgusted with himself for doing such a thing to the woman he loved not knowing what could have happened with the pregnancy. As the time passed and he held his little girl in his arms he learned that she was much like her mother and found his heart swelling at just looking at her.
By the age of six months Jocelyn was exploring everything in sight jumping animals already mastering her extensive hunting skills thanks to her father her bright golden eyes always looking up to him in admiration. Her father watched her carefully though not really able to comprehend what it would be like to lose Jocelyn as well like he had so many others. She knew her father was heartbroken at the loss of her mother but she didn't really understand why, but when she asked what happened to her mother that was when he pulled her on his shoulders and took her to a field filled with flowers. She still remembered the soft breeze that blew through making the flowers seem like a sea of color. She had been fascinated by the many colors in such a small place but when she looked into her father’s sad eyes she placed her hand on top of his own almost like her own mini adult. He'd told the young girl everything from how he ended up finding her mother all the way to how he had lost her in the end. Jocelyn was heartbroken and found herself blaming everything that had happened on her because it most certainly was her fault. Her father had reassured her but her heart ached at the fact that she was the reason her father was in so much pain. She remembered though he'd wrapped her in his arms and told her she was all he ever really needed in his life and Jocelyn vowed to always be there for her father no matter what, she just never knew how difficult that would turn out to be. Not long after Jocelyn woke up to see her father packing their things and loading them onto the next train as they headed towards wherever they were going to next. She hadn't really expected to end up in England though back where her father had said that he had run off from for such bad memories. He had said though that he had business to attend to and as she waited he went in and talked to a blonde woman catching a glimpse of her only quickly before the door was closed behind them. It seemed like ages that young Jocelyn sat waiting for him to come back to her and when he did he seemed grim almost walking past her completely not acknowledging her existence as she prodded him about what had gone on inside that home that changed him so much.
To young Jocelyn it seemed like years that they had travelled but it had only been days as she stared out the window rain sliding down as the country sides moved past idly her bright green eyes trying to catch every little detail. Every time she would try and show her father something excitement glowing on her face though he would seem almost dead to her somewhat distant and she found herself at a loss of what she should do. She didn't know what would happen but as they arrived in Italy at the end of the week she found her father just loosen ever so slightly as they moved towards a city called Volterra. Her father scooped her up in her arms and held her close telling her to keep quiet when he dropped her off somewhere because he had to speak to someone about business. Jocelyn just listened nodding her head every once in a while but her attention remained focused on the large buildings and people bustling around them. He'd made her sit in a bakery telling his daughter he wouldn't be far off and she smiled at him brightly at him and then he placed a kiss on her forehead and she watched him walk out the door. It had seemed like hours as the sun began to set over the city and her concern for her father seemed to take the place of her father’s warning causing her to head out of the bakery looking for her father adamantly. Her toddler formed searched down the alleys and peeked into every window she could manage to reach and still no sight of her father. Her small footsteps could be heard echoing down the alley and she called out to her father again but as she got close she was wrapped up in someone's arms that were not her father. Bright red eyes could be seen staring back at her and it growled slightly when he smelt her mixed blood. He talked about taking her back to people called the Volturi and who ever created her would be killed very slowly indeed and the thought of her bringing harm to her father haunted her immensely and she fit down on her captors hand the cold feeling of the granite skin sending a shiver down her spine. Then she hit the hard ground below and she ran as fast as she could knowing no normal human could move as quickly as she was right then.
Then she heard something crash into the man that was right on her heels and she turned around and saw a flash of blonde hair and she cried out for her father as he told her to run and get out of the city and he would catch up to her as soon as he could. She didn't know what was going on but she didn't second guess him and ran as fast as she could not stopping until she had reached the woods far beyond the city limits. Jocelyn didn't know what to do afraid that her father was in danger by the man who spoke of the Volturi and she worried once more that they would come back for her. Her breathing was ragged and she hid in the trees high above the dank floor below looking for her father but nothing came in sight even as dawn broke the sky. Though she was worried about her father she knew where he was going next and if anything he'd want her to wait for him there and she would be safe even if she couldn't do everything on her own travelling was something she was sure she could survive doing her father taught her everything she needed to know about what she was exactly so she was sure she had the hunting thing down it was just a matter of reaching that distance in enough time to be there when her father was. Jocelyn started her move right then but she just didn't know how much this trip would change the little girl’s life. She travelled but it seemed every where she thought her father would be he wasn't there until she managed to make it to Spain where she met a group of vampires that were far from good for her. Jocelyn was now around the age of two when she'd met them and she just didn't know how she survived for that long on just animals alone. The temptation of human blood taunted her and she was bound to slip up eventually. That was when she met Giovanni Montego. He was strong minded, powerful and immediately took in Jocelyn as soon as they met.
Even when she was reaching her "adolescent" years he took a liking to the young girl learning of her kind from other stories in myths and legends that passed through generations. He saw her potential of becoming something so much stronger then any human or supernatural creature alike could ever imagine. That was also when he taught her everything she needed to know he taught her how to be sexy and alluring and by the time she came to look like the angel she did now that was all her own personal mask. Her first kill was made at the age of six and she moved through the streets of Madrid with certain finesse about her her hips swayed and her dark green eyes seemed to draw in any man wandering eyes. He wasn't alone and he didn't plan on going home alone either and Jocelyn planned on fulfilling his wishes she let him spoil her and shower her with drink after drink and at the age of three that was perfect for her and he seemed to love every second of it. She managed to pace herself and found that if she took long enough she wouldn't get completely drunk because her vampire side would wash out the alcohol before it had a chance to affect her thought process. He'd placed soft kisses up her neck and she smiled her eyes seeming to shock him into his own drunken stupor and as he led her home before they even reached the street she pulled him close to her and unable to control herself any long drained him of every last drop the man held in him. As his cold shell of a body hit the ground her tongue traced along her lips smoothly and she smiled leaving him there until the next morning. Giovanni was beyond proud of her feet and he commended her and was proud of his student as her green eyes glowed brightly. Things of course wouldn't always stay the same and when she was found feeding on one young man she had met she ran and without warning disappeared off the face of the earth much like she thought her father had done just a few years before. Right then she had more than convinced herself that he was dead. So she went to America, to the state of Ohio…a city called Cleveland.

~ role play sample :
It was pretty much impossible to get anything for free. Strings always came attached, no matter what the case. In order to get something, first something else must be given up. If you really think about it, no matter how true, it was a rather pesimistic concept. Because on the opposite end of the spectrum it claimed that no one did anything good just to help another. That they always wanted something in return. Bella did believe in that, the first part at least. Her Father was the most recent case of proof she had. He had claimed to let her be ungrounded because of good behavior. But after saying that he went on to ask that she truly take advantadge of being ungrounded...That she spend her free time with more than just Edward.
There had been some reluctancy on her part at first but in the end she had agreed without ant complaints. Really, how could she. Considering Charlie had at first seemed like he would never let her out of the house other than to go to school. Not that she could blame him for punishing her in the first place. Running off to Italy for three days without a word were grounds for being punished and to top it all off, in order to keep Edward away...Jake had decided to rat her out to Charlie about the motorcycles. Jacob really was lucky she was over that now...that and she missed him too much to think about being angry.
What was best for her...it seemed every seemed to think they knew better than she. In a sensible way, she supposed they were right. It was better for her to be away from Cullens, and to have a normal human life. But did she want that. Not at all, she was in too deep. There was just no way for her to possibly imagine her life without Edward being a part of it. He was her life, and without him..well she was nothing. So despite what others wanted to believe, she knew what she wanted...and there was nothing that could stop her.
But contrary to what most people believed in Forks, no one really did know everything... Like that fact that vampires did very well exists...none could even begin to imagine all the things she had experienced...all that was taking place now.. But on the subject of vampires..there were things that even she did not like to discuss. The Volturi, well they just happened to be one of the main ones..She hated them, probably more than she should...but after what had happened. The way Aro had so carelessly allowed Jane to hurt Edward. She shuddered at the thought, feeling sick just remembering how he had looked..
Well the subject of the Volturi was something she liked to think about, though what she moved on to...Was just as, if not more sore of a subject. Jacob Black, and her Fathers obvious preference to him over Edward. It wasn't personal...or at least that's what she tried to tell herself...Charlie was still just upset over what happened...and Billy is his best friend..She tried defending her Father and Jacob as well..Charlie had always liked him...for many reasons..The fact that he had been there for her when she needed someone..and considering he hadn't been involved with what had happened in Italy wasn't hurting his cause either.
Bella honestly wanted to hit her head against her the tree behind her, this was so frustrating.. No one ever understood..Jacob thought Edward was dangerous for her...and Edward was making it very clear he felt the same about her best friend. She sighed, no matter what she said nothing seemed to work...nor did she even want to yell at Edward, but what else would get him to listen to her. That's what she hated the most..it seemed lately she was only defending one of them while she was with the other. Of course no matter what...she'd never not want Edward to be around and it was why she couldn't help but to smile when she realized she was no longer alone. "Hi..I was wondering when you'd get here." She replied, sounding happier than she felt.
