~ about me :Raze is actually a very angry child. She was abandoned by her real father when she killed her mother. She was found by child services and put in a home where she only stayed briefly because she was adopted by a shape shifter and his imprint. She doesn’t know how to love although she cares deeply for her adopted family. She feels only resentment toward herself and most others. She is a very sad angry girl. Raze isn’t mean though, her negative emotions are usually only unleashed upon herself. She is reserved and quiet only speaking up when she is very angry or if someone hurts somebody she loves.

~ history :
Raze was born to Julia but Raze would never know Julia’s last name only merely her existence. Julia was sixteen when she had Raze, Julia was sixteen when she died. Raze had never meant to kill her mother though her biological father would argue that. They had loved each other her parents. Hank met Julia when he was nineteen but physically he’d been sixteen as well and their love had been unique. Raze was conceived and slowly Hank got to watch his sweet Julia die. In the end he left his daughter to die in turn for killing her mother.

Raze had been discovered luckily by a nice social worker. They kept her only a few days before Ramon came upon the Halfling. It would be a lie to say he loved Raze the moment he saw her. He had adopted the hybrid out of a duty he felt to humans. Surely the child untamed would grow their at an alarming rate and feed on other children and the staff. Ramon couldn’t let that happen but it helped that Carmen his imprint loved the little child the moment she saw her. Ramon eventually grew to love Raze but only as the years passed and she truly became his daughter.

Cam had been five when Raze was adopted and thought she was just human. Cam took care of Raze as he would any normal little sister but it was difficult when Ramon had to hide Raze because at times Raze was even more different then just her abnormal speed. Around three years old Raze had been playing in front of the TV she was watching animal planet when she saw a peculiar melanistic panther. As Ramon watched she shifted into a panther cub right before his eyes. Before Cam could turn around and see the panther who had spontaneously appeared in his living room Ramon had grabbed her.

He sat in his bedroom with Raze starring at her wildly. He had never heard of one of them being able to accomplish what his species could. He felt closer to his adopted child in that moment then he ever could to Cam. Raze shifted more as she grew and as a result she had to be home schooled. She was uncontrollable seeing as she could shift from toddler age. They figured out she could only shift into black animals. This troubled Ramon and Carmen as they contemplated what this exactly meant but they tried to treat Raze as they did Cameron.

Cameron saw preferential treatment to Raze and instead of growing jealous he grew depressed. He began a spiral with a severe drug addiction that would eventually kill his mother. Cam accidentally ran over Carmen killing her instantly. Raze was left with yet another dead mother and she again felt responsible. Ramon sent Cam away unable to look at his imprints murderer but unable to kill his son. He wanted Raze to leave as well because she looked somewhat similar to his lost love. He didn’t sent her away though Raze left on her own to find and care for her helpless lost human brother.

~ role play sample :
She replied with hello back but she could have said anything for all Bass noticed. He instantly wanted nothing more then to kill her. You cant say it was his fault her blood was just so insanely alluring to him. He blinked once swallowing hard and coming up closer to her. He could just breach the small gap between them in seconds and snap her fragile neck. He could just take her right there without any sort of issue but at the same time...he couldnt. Something nagged him upon the first linking of her deep blue eyes.

It was unsettling for him but something stirred stronger then the desire to kill her. He extended his hand timidly as not to startle her. "My name is Bastion and i couldnt help but notice that you were alone." He blinked once his almost glowing purple eyes concentrated hard on her. "I dont think its safe...and i would hate to see you hurt ....that is to say if i could have prevented an injury to a woman i would." He tried to justify this strange feeling to himself.

He would walk her home and the minute that they got to her door step he would shove her inside where he would kill her. He was only playing with his food. He shook his head to himself. "...i would like to walk you that is if thats alright with you. I promise i cant hurt you..." Normal people said i wont hurt you but Bass thought that a lie. He would eventually kill her but at that current moment he couldnt. He wasnt a liar. He told truths but in varying shades of grey. He would make no unkept promise. He wondered though if he was indeed lieing to himself.

He tucked his jacket closer around him as he heard his friend the elephant trumpeting from his pen. "Must be wishing us goodbye." He said smiling wondering what Audrey would think of the specticle he was making. She would probably just kill the human to snap him out of this strange trance. He almost growled at the very idea. He looked at the human girl startled a little but trying to ignore his captivation with her.

"So whats your name?" He ran his fingers through his hair walking a step forward looking over his shoulder indicating she should follow. He saw her blushing cheeks and his throat burned for the blood rushing beneath them. He averted his eyes immediatly shaking slightly with the desire for just one taste...it was only the beginning of his desire for Lil.

~ power name : Animal Polymorphism

~ details : Raze can shift into any animal but only if that animal comes in black. She will assume the various black animals but she is normal creature sized unlike a shape shifter. She has teeth though that are as sharp as a shifters teeth. She is able to kill vampires but she is able to be killed twice as easily as a shape shifter considering her half human origin. She cant mind link with shifters of similar species and she cant change for at least fifteen minutes after shifting. This can be problematic if she shifts into a black horse to run from somthing but cant shift into a small animal to hide.

~ weaknesses :
She is the size of the standard animal
She has a heartbeat like a human and can die like a human
She morphs uncontrollably when faced with anxious situations

~ strength :
Well she obviously can hide out if she needs to (shifts into a black rat scurries off)
She can relate to both shifter and vampire species putting her on the extreme middle ground
She can fly if she shifts into a black bird

~ realisation :
When she was three watching animal planet and accidentally shifted into a panther cub in her living room…her daddy was so proud!
